He doesn't have a policy other than what can get me attention today or how can I stroke my ego on this? Dude is a sociopath man. Any "policy" he has announced was written by someone else at the time to get him indoctrinated into the soft minds of the conservative right. Can you not see that? Can you not read what he says or how he acts? He pulls stuff out his butt with no forethought and is all over the board. He lacks any grace or disposition for the sacred office. He is a baboon.

So in other words, you don't like HIM.

Again, I'm not denying he's an egotistical loudmouth but I stand by what I said.

Btw what's Aleppo

Cool that's one knock on GJ.

If I had to knock on something DT said I would be here all day but I know why you are a DT fan, I mean he love to grab you. :)

Congress can pass whatever they want. If Trump doesn't sign it then it is on him. Congress just looks like a bunch of ineffectual crybabies. Trump just looks like a big crybaby bully. Who the he'll is driving this thing! I want off until our leaders get their poop together.

Congress was never on board with the bill at all though, even with a republican majority. The only reason it was ever as close as it was in the first place was because Trump was trying to intimidate congressmen into passing the bill for his sake.

I want Obamacare repealed and replaced, but I want it done right.

I agree that it's on the leadership in the Republican Party for not having a better piece of legislature in the works to get it done. But also how many of those congressmen's constituents were against this bill anyway?

But you can't deny that it's on Trump to a certain extent for not actually having any idea of what the hell he wanted to do with healthcare. The only thing he was ever consistent on was wanting to remove state borders for insurers. After that he also said at different times that he:

1. Would repeal Obamacare
2. Have no cuts to Medicaid.
3. Implement a system where everybody would have healthcare, nobody would be denied servie, and nobody would be dying in the streets.

I dislike Obama's policies. But at least (on a professional level) I can respect that the guy came in with a plan and a strategy. Nobody knows what in the hell Trump wants done (other than repealing Obamacare) or how he wants to do it.

The Senate passed a repeal bill when Obama was in office. Why can't they get one done now?

Because the media is full on anti anything to do with Trump. In their minds if they side with Trump 100% then they'll get bad publicity and lose their next election. They love their power more than their county.

lol McCain ain't worried about his next election, that's for sure.

Because they knew Obama would veto it, they had zero risk. Ran their traps for 7 years, but have no clue how to move away from ACA. Nothing but rhetoric aimed at people who get their news from sound bites.

I'm not opposed to it but if I cast my ballot to a third party my vote is essentially going to waste which is unfortunate. The two party system is exactly what the establishment wants. An illusion of choice. That was again proven by McCain.

I only partially understand this reasoning. From my perspective, if the people who say they would vote third party actually voted third party then the numbers would be much higher than people think. And for me, a vote is never wasted. You are giving your opinion and your choice who you want to be in office. To me, our voting system is crippled because people vote for someone just so they feel like their vote isn't wasted.

Especially if you live in a state that is pretty much certain to go red or blue like TN, Alabama, or the west coast states.

If a third party ever hits the 5% threshold and gets public funding, we could potentially see a true impact.

Once again McCain shouldn't be doing anything related to government

Really depends on how far along his cancer is and what kind of treatments he's doing (I don't know his details well enough to say).

Libs are making this same argument about Trump saying that his inability to answer questions coherently (though he speaks fine off script) is a sign of early onset dementia and the 25th amendment should be enacted.

Hang in there Doc. Get your hands on some sedatives, knock them all out for the next two days, and enjoy your last couple days of vacation. :)

No need.
Just totally tune them out when they start talking politics.
They know that my stance is only for the good of America. I have no special interest agenda so it confuses them.
They completely shut down when I question their opinion and it's value to America...
:)

I'm a loyal voting Republican, but Trump and the slight majority Congress made a sloppy soup sandwich out of this! Have something a large portion of America can get behind squared away before you repeal. Lot of "trust us" involved and we know better. Noted brainiac John Legend tweeted that he's happy with last night's development but that doesn't make the three Republicans "hero's". McCain dragging himself in with a tumor in his head only adds to his heroism from the Vietnam War. They need to teach better in high school.
