Haha. Like you would have a choice in the matter. I'd beat you up and while you lay lifeless on pavement, I'd place you, #1, and Sarge next to one another and place each of your hands together. I'd then snap a picture and promptly post it here on Volnation for everyone to see. Then ide take $5 from each of you, which should be enough to cover the all Star and a decent tip. Then I'd proceed to add a little to my frame.

Ha!!! Fantasy land!! I don't carry money on me dude!! You would have to pay for your own meal!! Hahahahaha

Passed my next licensing exam this morning and still made it back in time to help coach my daughter's soccer team to a win in their first game. I'm expecting a call from USA Soccer offering me the HC job sometime this afternoon. If you don't see me posting that's why. Later rednecks!

Congrats on your exam and hope you get your coaching opportunity. I always enjoyed coaching youth sports when my boys were little. Teaching them how to win, how to lose, and provide encouragement and motivation along the way. We may have some great athletes for our 2022 recruiting class that Ol' coach Sarge made an impression on.

Yeah, I had to turn down US Soccer back in 2002. They came after me when they saw where I led my son's first AYSO team to 6-0-1 record. I decided to retire after the season as an undefeated soccer coach.

I would have figured you for the chasing the soccer ball type.

I can see why your sons team was so good. Your goalie was like a brick wall!

I think its safe to say it wouldn't hurt.

We will never stay out as long as oil is king and there are US oil companies involved in the ME. Plus the US doesn't want to risk being replaced there by a Russian or Chinese presence. I do agree with you though. It would be nice if we could removed our presence. But even then we would still be seen as the Great Satan, so I doubt there hate for us would simply stop.

Does anyone ever venture into the politics forum? There's some pretty awful people over there

Unfortunately, yes. It's like watching a slow moving train wreck and I can't look away...or resist responding in some cases. I usually end up regretting it but some things that are said strike such a nerve that it's near impossible for me not to say something.

InVol knows :)

I know it wouldnt simply stop but it could be the beginning of change.

While they continue to develop nukes, then use them, and as a result destroy the world for everybody to set up their Caliphate. They are not people you sit down and break bread with while you reason together. It is not our fault, either. It is their theocracy that has nothing to do with Crusades or any other events of the past other than a despicable human being creating a belief system for personal glory and power that has been used by evil people to brainwash billions of other people since its creation. It capitalizes on naturalism and a belief that answers are found in domination and the sword with rewards provided in the after life from a fictional, warped image of an angry God that must be appeased. Left alone it continues to perpetuate itself and build on each generation that follows.

You either stand up to it and diminish its image and power where it is located or you allow it to continue to undermine the foundations of nations that have historically known better.

Left alone maybe it turns in itself and stays in turmoil. Right now we are fighting to give them reason to rally.

I know, some things I can't let go. I honestly don't understand how some people's minds work. It is truly baffling. Some that I disagree with are very intelligent, you can tell. But some of the things that are said leave me with a lot of pause.

Intelligent, yes. Grounded in reality, no.

I've always been of the opinion that there must always be a voice of dissent in nearly every situation, otherwise we're all a bunch of lemmings, but some of their opines are juvenile, anarchist, and outright ignorant.

Some are admitted anarchist. Not sure they understand what an anarchist country would look like. Some want to see all drugs legal, heroin, meth, crack, everything. Not sure they really understand the implications from that either.

Of course they don't, they are all high. Their judgement is impaired.

Any of the VN MDs. Since I recently moved, I have not established myself with a new doctor here in Murfreesboro. However, I have been on 15 mg daily dose of Meloxicam for about a year now. My wife was just prescribed diclofenac sodium tablets to help reduce inflammation in her feet. (Bunions aggravated recently by an injury) She is worried about taking it due to the list side effects and now she is worried about my liver being on Meloxicam so much. The fact that I enjoy my rum doesn't ease her worry either. Should I go see a doc about cycling off Meloxicam? Is there something that doesn't affect the liver so much that would be a reasonable substitute? Or should I consider a different treatment for my chondromalacia?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Rub some dirt on it.
