In college me and some buddies did this all during college football. I can't remember the model and I'm sure the technology has changed in the 5 years but I remember being pleased with the quality for what we paid for.

The two biggest things are to make sure wherever the screen is set has shade if you're going to use it in the afternoon because the picture would get completely washed out if it was in the sun. And the other is that we had to get creative to get it pointed right if it wasn't completely level from the projector to the screen. The projector itself had some legs you were supposed to be able to use to adjust but they generally didn't work too well and we would just have to adjust the height by putting magazines etc under it.

I'm the same way about researching and not going super elaborate. I get it. I was just cautioning that I've had one and seen some that were not even worth the low amount you spend on them. If you've done yer research then hopefully you find a good one. And no I wasn't talking about spending $1500. Just spending a couple hundred like what you would spend on a tv. Maybe the cost has gone down recently too.

When I was still in Memphis a friend of mine did that on his back patio, but he used the side of his garage for the screen. He slapped a fresh coat of white paint on that one side. LOL! He had some Harmon-Kardon speakers for sound.

Maybe different in other markets but I only get my local Fox affiliate

Lots of options. Most all do free trials. Sign up, use the free trial to decide what's important to you.

We are going to really wish we would have gone out and signed an elite closer, when this is all said and done. Hope I’m wrong. Lost 2 games this past weekend because of it.
