who doesn't look at porn?

I used to. It is not a healthy habit IMO and is not something that I partake of any more. I have three daughters and I want them to feel they are worth more than what pornography says they are worth. I will not judge anyone who chooses to look at it, because I did so myself. However, I have changed my opinion about its effect on our society and I don't see a whole lot of good that comes from it. For that reason, I stay away and try to guide my children to stay away as well.

I also think that there is probably a link between many cases of erectile dysfunction and over sexual stimulation through pornography. I have no evidence to back that up, just a gut feeling.
Dr. Gary Wilson has all that evidence for you if you wanna check out “Your Brain on Porn.”

A topic like this is greatly polarizing which is why I like to go to the science, as with pretty much everything, and there is plenty of emerging evidence to support your perspective

I figured I was right. Lol. Thanks for the reference. I will look into it.

Good take. Thanks.

Follow up question:

For those in a relationship, do you consider looking at porn cheating ?

Again, I didn't at one point. However, as a Christian man, lusting after another woman is basically adultery. So for me, I would say yes. Another good reason not to view it, on top of the myriad other reasons.

I certainly don't speak for all because not all view the world through the same lenses as I do.

Everything in moderation. That's my motto.

I couldn’t do porn in moderation. When I was in, I was all in.

It’s a slippery slope for me. I avoid it now.

I know others that don’t. Some it is causing problems for and others it isn’t - at least in the surface.

I have done a lot of research on it. It really messes with the brain.

But no one will be judged by me.

To each their own, I respect those that recognize that it's not something they can control. I have a strong libido and sometimes a man does what a man does.
