Notice Fauci is only talking about AFTER he told him what absolutely had to be done. It was too late. He had already spent weeks tweeting and being a childish buffoon like usual. He already said it was no big deal, it was under control, people saying it was to be taken seriously was a "hoax". Health officials had already figured out the need of mitigation back in February. Trump didn't listen for nearly a month.

Hell, people were talking about this thing in Dec, Jan, and the POTUS needs someone to hold his hand all the way into March to tell him what to do smh. He accepted the experts' advice once they told him to sit down and shut up. But by then we were knee deep in this thing. Up until then he ignored all the health experts.

Exactly. It's not like Trump was getting alarmist advice from the 'experts' early on Remember that in early March the Dems/MSM suddenly started accusing Trump and conservatives of "ignoring science" because of their Christian faith. The reality is the 'experts' didn't think it was a big deal early on either (well, the WHO probably knew, but 'Dr.' Tedros just flat out lied to the world to cover for the CCP), so Trump was listening to the 'science' people, who we know now did not have it right. So Fauci can say now that there was pushback early on to shutting down the economy, but he and the rest of the 'science' people weren't exactly sounding any alarms about that in February.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been one of the undoubted media stars of the pandemic, so much so that even President Trump has opined the nation’s infectious disease chief should consider running for political office.

So when Fauci professed on Sunday that more lives could have been saved if aggressive social distancing had been enacted earlier in February, many in the media took it as a poke at the president and governors overseeing the pandemic, even suggesting Fauci may have been overruled in private.

“If you had a process that was ongoing and you started mitigation earlier, you could have saved lives," Fauci told CNN's Jake Tapper, suggesting “there was a lot of pushback about shutting things down” early in the pandemic.

But a review of more than three dozen public and media appearances and writings by Fauci, however, shows the nation’s infectious disease chief didn’t embrace — at least not in public — firm social distancing, bans on flights or cruises, or other strict measures during many opportunities in February or March.

In fact, during those two months he called the idea of banning restaurant eating “overkill,” urged healthy people to still go on cruises, and suggested there was no long-term benefit to shutting down domestic air travel, the review showed.

Fauci also provided very different answers at different times about U.S. preparedness for the pandemic and the potential lethality of COVID-19.

For instance, Fauci declared on MSNBC on Feb. 25 that “we are reasonably well prepared. We have had a pandemic preparedness plan that we put together years ago.”

In that same interview, Fauci said the plan might eventually require mitigation strategies such as closing schools, teleworking, and imposing social distancing to slow the virus. “We need to start thinking about that now, even though it isn’t absolutely necessary to implement that now,” he said.

By March 12, when he appeared for congressional testimony, Fauci had changed his tune on preparedness, at least when it came to widespread testing for the virus, which he said was a “failing” of the American system.

“We’re not set up for that,” he said. "Do I think we should be? Yes. But we’re not."

By March 23, Fauci went even further, backing away from preparedness, suggesting in Science Magazine a post-mortem of COVID-19 might show the plan crafted over many years was insufficient.

“It’s almost like the fog of war," he said. "After the war is over, you then look back and say, ‘Wow, this plan, as great as it was, didn’t quite work once they started that throwing hand grenades at us.' It really is similar to that.”

Because he's with the NIH, which has given millions to the Chinese labs that developed COVID-19 among other infectious diseases through the years. Intentionally downplayed what he knew while it was being developed in those labs. He knows that as they follow the money his part in it all will be known. PDT has reversed it and is just using him to make lemonade out of lemons.

Just like Fauci downplayed hydroxychloroquine/Z-pac use with COVID-19 while having raved over hydroxy's effect back in 2013. The guy is a leftist, Hillary Clinton loving tool. Even Dr. Oz cannot understand Fauci's multiple approaches when people are sick and dying all around them.

Yes, the State Department is learning more and yes, it is a bio-engineered virus. Everyday more information comes out about it worldwide. The only thing left to prove it whether it was intentionally released or if by accident. The later question is not really relevant anymore because they covered it up and the WHO helped. So if it was not a bioweapon at the start, it became one when they covered it up.

For anyone to insinuate or claim they know more than the POTUS is the height of arrogance and really, stupidity. Most Americans have learned over the past three years there is always more to the story than the MSM and politicians want you to know. The truth is available, just dig and use common sense.

We are all guilty of it though. Hell, I basically, if not flat out called Devo stupid last night. I don't mean it, but I'm pretty sure I said it. I actually like Devo, even if we don't have the same views.

The thing is though...I have siblings that are Dems, and they are for none of that. It is not the centrist Dems that bother me, it is the fact that they have been take over by the antifa freaks that are for all those things.

The federal government in no way shape or form should fund Planned Parenthood. However I do believe that it has every right in the world to exist as a private entity.

I've not seen that in this thread (other than Baldy, I guess). I've not seen condescension toward the leftist. I have called them communist and I believe that to be true. Communism is forced socialism and socialism is a precursor to communism.

ANd they do want my guns, how is that not true? It's in their freakin' bylaws.
