This decision was pretty much inevitable. Most schools are done early to mid May. No sense in taking huge steps just to have them come in for a week or two. Hopefully everything will be ready to roll next school year which starts in most places August

I agree. No point in risking it, but I have a high school senior. I hate not having a graduation ceremony. I'm sure they will have one a few months from now, but it won't be the same

Woof. You misunderstood. The "DonaldjTrump.com lol" statement was by itself. Just a laugh at the referencing "source". The site's argument was the strawman...

Nice attempt to change subject. Are we talking about Pelosi now? The point was health officials were, in mid Feb, talking to Trump about this. Go back even FURTHER and he said the response was a hoax (lol) and he had it under control. Total embarrassment.

What a goon.

Whataboutism at its finest. We are talking DT's failures and you say "but what about". Aand there's the white flag 🤣🤣

But that is the whole point. Trump didn't fail. He was actually far ahead of the Dems on this, who were too busy in January trying to impeach Trump, and all of February they spent crying about Trump's travel ban. But hell, I hope the Dems do waste more time on it. This Congress has wasted pretty much its entire time trying to get Trump rather than working for the American people, so why change now?

Now they want to extend the stimulus bill to $2000 per American 16 or older🙄

They will also try to sneak in HR5717, or parts of it, and it is a nasty piece of gun control legislation.
But you have many across our country and several on this site who will continually defend the lunatic dems tooth and nail just because of their hatred or dislike for DT.

What's in it? Is it similar to what the VA gov pushed through?

Introduced by Hank Johnson (D-GA), although I am sure he didn't write it. He's the same Einstein who, during a Congressional hearing regarding putting more naval personnel on Guam, actually asked an admiral, that due to the small size of the island, if he was worried that it might at some point "tip over." o_O

Text - H.R.5717 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020

You beat me to it. The fact he's the sponsor should tell Rish everything. It's an awful bill.

Trump very clearly failed. That is point 1 everyone agrees on.

I'm not sure what Dems have to do with this, but yeah they were all over the map during this time too, point 2.

Point 2 Whataboutism does not excuse point 1 POTUS failure.

Whatabout scapegoats...this must be the new "thing" from The Buffoon.

Not sure i get what you're saying.

Until this past week, Dem's couldnt unite...Bernie pulled left while Pelosi, Shumer, and others maintained power.

Good to see a reckoning toward a common goal.

“This is COVID-19 ― not COVID-1, folks,” Conway said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.” “And so you would think the people charged with the World Health Organization would be on top of that.”

But COVID-19 stands for “coronavirus disease 2019” and is reflective of the year it was identified, not the number of previously documented diseases.

😂😂🤣🤣 People on both sides are idiots
