When Alcindor pointed out that he had held a campaign rally on March 3, Trump said: “I don’t know, did I hold a rally? I’m sorry, I hold a rally. Did I hold a rally?”

Have to search for independent news outlets. Not news supported by big business ads and, therefore, big money political supporters. Big media is a set of large conglomerates ran by big business interests. Tough to get anything but narratives from them.

Almost. She said if you don't trust that they won't take your property, life, liberty at some point through force. But I digress.

Regardless, she then concludes the gun debate is over. She is setting the argument up as ONLY being about owning guns or not, ie we need guns to protect us from the government taking things by force. I would agree IF this was the actual, genuine gun debate.

The gun debate is over who can get them (mental, criminals, etc), the controls in place, and type of weapons.

Her false dichotomy is disingenuous. Some can agree with the possibility of a forceful government, while still wanting reasonable measures in place for anomalous circumstances and people.

True, but I don't trust any of these independents yet either. I will wait till I hear enough recommendations for one that I know it will probably be good.
