Anecdotally, some people counted as dying of covid would have died anyway. That's not really in dispute. Its just that the undercounting of those who died because of covid and never received an autopsy or post mortem test is way higher. That is why the lead authority in the U.S. says there is an undercount.

It may or may not matter to you that the public health official in that video refutes that Illinois is over-counting deaths. Dr. Ngozi Ezike Refutes Notion That Illinois is Over-counting COVID-19 Deaths

This Dr Birx you mention is the same Dr Birx who recommends we wear masks.

President Donald Trump's coronavirus response coordinator said on Fox News Tuesday it is important for everyone to wear a mask because asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19—the disease caused by the new coronavirus—could unwittingly put others at risk.
"We know that talking, singing, certainly sneezing and coughing can pass the virus on to others. Because you can pass it when you're asymptomatic, people don't know that they're infected," Dr. Birx said.
"If everybody wears a face mask, then you're protecting the other person because it's really having the asymptomatic individuals wearing masks.
"But since you don't know if you're one of those, really everyone needs to in those kinds of social gathering situations, as long as there's still virus in the community."

You see those type all over Central & South Florida. They don't have a clue what's it's like to open range hunt in the Canadian Rockies or The Big Sky Country! They ride around and shoot pigs from their trucks or swamp buggies and call it hunting.

It's only true in highly populated blue states, and to be honest, I don't care about Cali and NY. But as I posted the other day, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Minnesota are all blue states that have opened.

Not sure why I even bother. I'm not even a leftist, but the propaganda machine is full blast on both sides.

I don't believe the economic devastation would be near as bad...that is just a load of horsecrap that lockdowners like to say tthemselves to make themselves feel better about destroying millions of people's livelihoods.

Anyone ever dove hunt in Yuma Arizona? They say it's the dove hunting capital of the world. When I was stationed out there, I would take a couple of (non Marine) non hunting friends out with me, so I could shoot my limit and theirs too.

Deer hunting in the south, for the most part, is like shooting a large dog in other parts of the country.

Sorry, not sure I follow your question. I meant to blame the president for a global pandemic and resulting effects seems silly.

Yea, and he would make sure he cared for those who couldn't. He would encourage others to sacrifice when they could for others. I don't see how wearing a mask is much to ask to potentially keep another from suffering. I wear a mask to hopefully lessen the spread to those that might not fair as well.

I'm all for opening things up. It's been long enough. Having said that if making a small sacrifice such as wearing a mask is too much for you, if it inconveniences you, then by all means don't wear the mask. I would hate for you to be inconvenienced.

My nephew referred to an ugly girl as a “double masker”. He said that’s the modern day version of a double (Kroger) bagger. A girl so ugly that only one mask or bag won’t do. Yikes!

If the government or business requires me to wear a mask I would. Pretty simple. But they don’t.

Saying that if you don’t wear a mask whenever you leave your house means you don’t really love or care about people is bold I’ll give you that.
