And does anyone wonder why there are more cases in the USA then any other country.
Tell that to those people at high risk. Their survival rate is quite a bit lower but don't let facts get in the way. Let's just make sure you not inconvenienced. I mean hell, wearing a mask is such a huge sacrifice.

Well they can stay home and stay safe then!

Let everyone else go!

I mean seriously what the actual hell are you talking about?

Old people are always more at risk for everything all the time! Protect nursing homes and if you're old and have assisted living then you try and stay home.

I mean what about the huge uptick in suicide? People losing everything over this. So we can protect 80 year olds? The average life span in America isn't even 80!

When did flatten the curve become, "CURE EVERYTHING"

We flattened the curve. The hospitals are fine. Open up and protect the vulnerable. Like Sweden! They lost a lot of nursing home folks. But most of those deaths were people over 86. I mean we are still losing people in nursing homes regardless.

If we really wanted to stop the spread then we should stop overflowing all the grocery stores 24/7.

Does anyone remember when it first started. I am a news freak, watch lots of different views. I said It was going to spread faster than the Australian wildfires. I think very few believed me.
I told my friends and parents about it. They all was like, this is America we have the best medical facilities in the world and best doctors, and it want come here especially to west TN. I said get back with me in a month. I had been seeing the spread to country to country. Alas I came to the conclusion that all my friends and parents are are arrogant as hell and think we are better than everyone else for some reason. That is why I know no matter the evidence or proof or facts some people just wont Get it.

Yeah because we are the largest country in the world behind Russia, but we have 200 plus million more people and its far more dense.

A more apt comparison would be Europe. We are about the exact same size as Europe and they have OVER two times the cases. Why? Because they're more densely populated.
Per Captita we have less cases.

Not including the ridiculous way we all count the cases and deaths. All you need are symptoms to be diagnosed with it and so long as the virus is in your body at your time of death, even if it wasn't directly caused by the virus then its a death by covid. That is not a reliable way to count data! Then 1 third of the deaths are nursing homes. Average age of victims are 81. If all of them actually died from the thing.

Maybe they died because they were uh REALLY FREAKING OLD. Maybe they died because they smoked cigarettes all their life? Maybe they died because they were big as a house???

You know who I fear for?

Jim Chaney!!! Keep a mask on his ass we need him! Ain't no way that big boy can handle anymore pressure on his organs!

I’m not sure if some of you are really this inept at reading comprehension or you’re just so enraged that you’re hate posting on a message board but this is what is ACTUALLY happening here:

InVOL is arguing for wearing masks. Not keeping the economy shut down. Wearing a mask does not effect the economy. You guys understand that, right?

Me, me, me, me. All about me.

Where is the simple ethic of taking simple precautions to prevent involuntary harm to others? That is a basic ethical principle I thought most could agree on, but apparently their ethics differ on this.

It, in fact, helps the economy. With this simple precaution, we reopen sooner, quicker, have fewer resources wasted, and buying masks helps small businesses that are producing them. Bam.

Not sure Sweden is a good comparison. Generally, the Swedish people aren’t divisive and try to cooperate as a nation, as opposed to our states pulling in different directions. They have had higher death rates than their Scandinavian counterparts, and their herd immunity hasn’t progressed as much as they had hoped. Also, even with no lockdown, they are expected to hit 10% unemployment, which is certainly better than us, but not very good.

I don’t have the answers, but I’m not sure they did it any better. This situation was tough all the way around, and hindsight is always 20/20. Just learn from it.

Yes. I’m the one freaking out. It’s clearly I questioning the faith of others in this thread because they choose not to, gasp!, wear a mask.
I never questioned your faith. I questioned your devotion to your faith. I ask you again would Jesus encourage you to wear a mask? That's ok, don't answer. I know how coming to the realization that you're selfish and you don't care for others can be painful.

You never answered the question of where you fall. There are really only three choices:

1. You don't believe wearing a mask will keep you from spreading it to others.
2. You don't care whether you spread it to others.
3. You are are on a rebellious kick where you "You ain't making me wear no mask! It's my right!"

ANother ME ME ME post.

FIrst of all I'm 100% ready to open everything up. All the schools, restaurants, strip clubs, stores, what ever. All I'm advocating is when you go to stores where people have to go to by things, wear a mask. It's common courtesy to do so. This "I don't give a **** about anyone but myself" is actually pretty sad.

I love my county haha. Yeah I’d saw this earlier and was pretty pleased. There’s a large number of people that live here & plenty of travelers/tourists around & through here as well. That’s one more sign for encouragement for anyone as to things getting better all the way around

I’ve been told I look better with a mask so I’m on your side

I never questioned your faith. I questioned your devotion to your faith. know how coming to the realization that you're selfish and you don't care for others can be painful.
This is the best part. You establish what you see to be required for true devotion to Christ, with no scriptural support I might add, and then determine that because I don’t fall in line with your self imposed view and opinion, that I’m not only not devoted, but that I’m selfish and don’t care for others.

This reminds me of a certain 1st century group of people...

Can I pick all three? I really don't like people. Any people.
