Prayers for everyone effected by it. It runs on my Mom's side of the family but I could not imagine this or the other scenarios.
thanks bruh, was waiting for it to be excised and deposited here before responding

Thank you. All prayers are always welcome. Those of you that have mentioned your losses will be in my prayers as well. I also did not mean to make this thread into something it isn't. Go Vols. I think Byrd is a Vol as well.

I had two uncles who committed suicide...not the same kind of loss by any stretch. That being said, it could have been an execution reference and even if it wasn't, you can't look for reasons to get offended...you'll always find it. My late younger sister was special needs and I learned not to brandish arms at every RETARDED utterance I overheard. If it was used in hate and derision TOWARDS her, I entered the fray...but that was hardly ever the case. Likewise my wife lost her battle with breast cancer almost two years ago. Whenever a poster makes fun of awareness campaigns with SAVE THE BOOBIES or IN THE PINK references, I take issue. But if I jumped at every CANCER IN THE LOCKERROOM or similar analogy? Wouldn't have the energy. Having a senior daughter who was heartbroken over her breakup last night, I don't want to imagine your loss. I'll just leave it with pick your battles...there are way too many to choose from. :hi:

This. I was going to add on but I will not.

This Country needs an intervention. All I know to do is pray harder that people will realize what's best for this great land
Sports, professional sports in particular are becoming more about entertainment rather than competition. I'm afraid that mentality is starting to infect our political process as well. "Can you believe he said that? I'm voting for him!"

Tonight was easy to see coming. Now next week in South Carolina a great deal is at stake

If trump wins there I am going to start being extremely worried

Yep, 3 out of the 10 Republicans in NH voted from Trump. I think if a couple of the Republicans were to drop out it would help Cruz or Rubio because I don't think Trump would get those votes.

Agreed I think nearly all of trump votes are set and next to none will be picked up to him as others drop out

New Hampshire is a democrat state. They would have voted for Bernie before any Republican anyways so I take this primary with a grain of salt. Should be changed to the live socialist or die state imo. South Carolina has an open primary if I remember correctly. Democrats get to vote in Republican primaries there which is how Lindsey Grahmnesty gets re-elected every time. Don't get caught up with their results. Ted Cruz will sweep the rest of the south.

This is what I am counting on.

There remains a reshuffle of votes of the governors to occur. Hopefully, enough conservative anti-Trump votes will come his way in the shake-out. Kasich is setting up to try for a VP slot. But I will not throw the baby out with the bath water if Trump wins. I will consider the VP that is selected that can reign him in when needed. There is no way I would ever vote for the dangerous candidates that are emerging from the Dems in this cycle. That includes Biden if he gets drafted.

I would prefer Bernie win the democratic primary than Hilary because he's not bought. He is definitely farther left, but let's be honest there's no way he gets even half of what he wants passed through congress. Even with disagreeing with about all of his policies, I can respect that he actually believes that in his mind it would help the American people. Whereas Hilary is as bought as someone can possibly be.

If Bernie were too win I would see Republicans overwhelmingly win Congress during his term and be able to vote down anything he tries to pass

Well, I understand what you're trying to say. Hillary is more sneaky and clever and as such would most likely be more effective at further "transforming' America. However, after the precedent set by Obama a Democrat President like Bernie would most likely rule by illegal executive orders and edicts. That's the new normal. As such the country absolutely cannot survive with any semblance of it's original identity with either a Sanders or Clinton presidency. The only hope for the revival of this country is to completely defeat the Democrats and more importantly their Socialist/Marxist/Statist agenda. We are basically right back into the ideological cold war. The only difference is that now the Stalin's are not contesting from an afar Soviet Union, but are intertwined into our own government and pop culture society. There was a time not long ago when an avowed socialist and former member of the Communist Party would be run out on a rail. Now days it can get you to the oval office. The Democrats and their leftist, foreign agenda must be defeated outright.

Anyone watch Trump on CBS This Morning?

"It was a mistake to remove Kahdafy and Hussein."

Stated it made the region unstable and allowed terrorist groups to rise. Not untrue but watch candidates spin that against him.

I guess I'm just not as anti-Democrat as you. I actually kind of agree with some of Bernies ideas, just that he takes it to far.

I think the minimum wage is too low, the fact that people can work 40+ hours a week and still need to be on welfare just doesn't seem right to me. We're basically subsidizing all these corporations. But it also doesn't need to be $15.

And I work in the healthcare industry and our system in unnecessary complicated and bloated. Our government pays more per capita for healthcare than countries that actually have universal healthcare. At some point it should become an economic decision rather than a political one.

I own my own company and I can't attract non-skilled labor for minimum wage. I have employees that can barely sweep the floor, have no initiative to better their skill set, and are generally lazy that I have to pay at least $10/hr. The only reason I keep them or don't pay less is they do usually show up for work.

Swapping to socialism is never an economic decision. I regret to say that you must be defeated. Everyone wants a better life. Marxism or even quasi-Marxism isn't going to give you that despite the promises. There comes a point when you run out of other people's money and then comes the iron fist. Rationing, malaise, wearing sweaters in the White House because we can't afford heat.

Yup, and Bernie and friends would say you should pay $20 an hour and promise benefits you can't even afford for yourself.
