Sorry if I misquoted you on the Goldman Sachs thing . I know I've seen that posted by someone on here before. I thought it was you.

No worries Sam! You're one of the most gracious and humble posters on here and I respect that a lot :hi:

I think Trump has pledged before that he won't run as a third party if he doesn't win the nomination.

Either way, a majority of the states are winner takes all with electoral college votes. Trump or one of the other Republican candidates running as a third party would probably just ensure win for the Democrats by splitting the Republican vote.

He pledged that as long as the establishment republicans "respect him." Which they clearly have not.

Much watch TV.

Trump has to make a mistake at one of these things eventually, right?

They're going to go all out on him like never before. This is basically a last ditch effort, unless rubio or cruz drops out and strongly endorses the other candidate very soon.

Which I don't see happening. Cruz because he's done well thus far. Rubio because he's the clearly the "establishment" candidate and the states he'll do best in are still a month or more away.

Sad thing is it wouldn't matter. His supporters for the most part are a full-go. And will support him no matter what happens.

To beat him it needs To drop to a 2-man race. I believe the poll shows Cruz and Rubio would each beat trump head to head by 16 points.

I agree I also think if Cruz drops out, a lot of his supporters go to trump.

Haha. I figured you or someone would try to use politifact. Skullbone has already replied. But I will add...

Any site that has hilary at only being pants on fire lying 1% of the time. And then false or mostly false only 27% of the time tells me what I need to know about how "non-partisan" or "unbiased" they are.

Would you like to go through and debate whether or not they are true? Happy to do that. Cruz is a liar, period.

No, thanks.

1) I doubt it would be too fruitful, as neither of us would probably convince the other.

2) my wife went out, and I have all 4 kids by myself tonight.

OK. Let me know when you feel like putting your money where your mouth is.

Romney on Trump... I thought he made an excellent case. Would vote form him in a heartbeat this year. Thoughts?

"Mr. Trump is directing our anger for less than noble purposes. He creates scapegoats of Muslims and Mexican immigrants. He calls for the use of torture. He calls for killing the innocent children and family members of terrorists. He cheers assaults on protesters. He applauds the prospect of twisting the Constitution to limit First Amendment freedom of the press.

This is the very brand of anger that has led other nations into the abyss.

Here's what I know. Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University.

He's playing the members of the American public for suckers. He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.

His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president and his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill."

"But you say, wait, wait, wait. Isn't he a huge business success? Doesn't he know what he's talking about? No, he isn't and no he doesn't.

His bankruptcies have crushed small businesses and the men and women who work for them. He inherited his business, he didn't create it. And whatever happened to Trump Airlines? How about Trump University? And then there's Trump Magazine and Trump Vodka and Trump Steaks and Trump Mortgage. A business genius he is not."

See, you are already have a pre-determined opinion. Doubt anyone can change that. I'll just leave it again at, Cruz has proven he will stand by what he says and do what he says, even when people say it's crazy . Proven it. See the Iowa corn subsidies as an example. He went into Iowa and took an unpopular stance in that state because he believed in it. I believe he was the only candidate to do so. and he still won.

Anyways I gotta go.

May God bless America!

I think that's your problem. It's not a matter of opinion, but fact.

The fact is they all lie. They're politicians, it's what they do. Any candidate that you support, I can find a website that supports the notion that they're a liar.

Anyone else drinking up for the debate? I've found that being half buzzed is the only way I can endure even a little bit of it! Tonight should be an even larger **** show than the last one!!
Will be a 3rd grade show down of who can call each other the worst names!!
#ddw. (Drunk debate watching...I made that up)

This needs to be a Trump/Cruz showdown. Kasich is an operations guy - not a front man. Rubio messed up by going with this attacking style - that's Trump's domain. He's not fooling anybody on his immigration explanation. He played the big dog in the Gang of Eight bill time, now he's paying for it.
