I think Rubio should get out. He's too far behind in delegates. I think it's crazy for the consummate third placer to ask the second placer with twice the delegates to quit. Marco should be the one to fall on his sword. That would in my opinion keep Don from getting enough delegates and push a brokered convention at the very least.

The problem with that is that polling and demographic data suggests that Cruz is peaking right now and will do so through about March. Rubio will have a chance to overtake him when they hit more states outside the bible belt and evangelic midwest. The states that will vote Rubio are on the backend of the primary.

Basically Rubio has no real motivation to drop out now.

There's also a lot of polling data that suggests Ted Cruz beats the Donald in a one on one so he sure as heck isn't going to quit.

I know it would never happen but I wish Rubio would back out and behind the scenes become Cruz's running mate. That ticket would dominate.

I went with Rubio. Would fully support Cruz if Rubio dropped out though. Can't see myself voting in November if it's a Trump vs. Hillary/Bernie ticket.

Yeah that was disappointing. I hoped the Obama phenomena was a one time thing, but, nope, the country is indeed that gullible for real. I guess it's still better to vote for a tyrant who doesn't hate the country this time. That's sort of progress. Either way prepare yourselves for a Kim Kardashian presidency in the near future. We're officially a mobocracy.

We are the new Rome..Bread and circuses!

Romney needs to go feed the ducks at the park. He blew the last election and generates zero enthusiasm. But I would love to hear him explain about the millions he accepted in donations from Trump.

Romney would be interesting. If he would have attacked Obama I think he could have won. There was a moment in one of the debates in 2012 that stands out in my memory. A reporter asked both candidates who was the biggest threat to the worlds peace. Obama said Isis. Romney said Russia (Obama laughed).

I just looked at a couple of articles. Looks like people close to Romney are saying this is NOT an endorsement or a announcement that he is running.

This smacks of the establishment Republicans desperation.

Romney is a two time loser. He needs to go away. His anti-Trump media blitz is only going to help the Donald. This demonstrates how out of touch the establishment is when they trot him out there. Gees, at least pick a winner like W.

How hypocritical it is to accept millions from Trump through the super pac that Romney used in his own election to then go on the attack against him like a whore. He is destroying his own legacy by acting like the goofball RINO he is.

For those who do not think Trump will get rid of Bamacare, you might want to look at his 7 point plan released this AM. Kind of looks like something Jeff Sessions would support to me. Has a look of what a republic might offer its citizens.

Time to focus on the substance and not the style. There are only two choices that have the backbone to turn the ship around in this race and we know who they are - choose one. Then support the one that wins the nomination. The others need to get out and the establishment needs to accept the new normal or a real third party will emerge. We the People have had it with the status quo. The Tea Party was just a prelude to the main event.

FWIW and JMO.

I don't particularly like Trumps personality but I'll vote for him if he gets the nom. The Supreme court is up for grabs. The GOP, if not careful, are going to screw themselves right out the office with all these childish attacks. They have sunk to Trumps game.

I agree but I'm not convinced he really means anything he says. I'm not convinced he's even really a conservative. I don't trust him.

This is where I'm at. Ted Cruz is the only man I truly trust in the race. He's the only man who actually has a record of following through with his promises and he certifiably has the best understanding of Constitutional restraints.

Trump has them worried because the backroom deals will disappear if he wins.

Huh?
Have you been paying attention to what trump is all about and his history and what he's been saying? He's all about the deal-making and the back-scratching....

And to be clear, so is the establishment of course.

But that's why we need ted Cruz. He is anti-establishment. And actually called out McConnell on the senate floor for lying behind closed doors. Cruz is what we need. Not another back room deal maker in trump
