Yeah they also have this thing where you can pay to have a conversation with a girl in a school uniform. No sex they just get off interacting with some chick looking like she's in high school.
Watched Conan show on HBO, where travels to Japan. I have no idea why this exists, but he paid 3 people to play his family while he was there. It was funny. Strange culture.

I blame their insane modern educational/work culture there. Their youngens are never able to be young boys. They pour everything into school and are left only dreaming about girls. Then comes intense Uni years and an even more intense business culture. Suddenly, a lot of them wake up at 30 one day never having really experienced young romance and normal relationships.

All in all, I'm huge on education culture, but Japanese culture imo is beyond being a positive thing.

"Moderation in all things" is again a wise suggestion.

I work with the Japanese quite a lot. They are good, kind people. However, just like most other Asian nations they are very set in their ways. They cannot think outside the box and are quite robotic in a lot of ways. Many times when the Japanese come here for a few years to work they hate having to go back to Japan. They literally cry sometimes.

Great point. That rigidity definitely stifles creativity too imo. Another example of moderation is key. Agree very nice people as well.

Would love to visit one day, always been a bucket list item.
