I tend to believe the Gruden Saga the first time had some legs to it...too much smoke.

I say we keep an eye on what is going on within our borders and f what is going on in the rest of the world. Let the UN and NATO take the lead for a while.

That would be a repeat of WWII. Nip it in the bud now. There was a seer a number of years ago predicated that the next big war would be the US and China cleaning Russia’s clock. I am afraid that if/when Putin invaders Ukraine, the top blows off and millions of people will die on both sides. I truly hope I am wrong.

Where gave you been. Everything in the world has changed in 18 years including Putin trying to gain as much power as possible. He is testing the West to determine how it will react to his aggression. The more we give up now, the more we lose later.

Not quite, at least in the sense of the home country. Ukraine doesn't even want outside foot troops (we've all seen how that works before as America's ways to build long-term and expensive bases abroad...no thanks).

Also don't see many countries jumping in on the side of the bully aggressor.

I just find it pathetic Russia still looks at global conflicts through the old and failed view of invading and going to war. Did the USSR experiment teach them nothing? It's a waste of time and resources long-term. Look at the EU post-WWII. Peace, economic flourishing, cooperation. We should all aspire to such and I expect most citizens worldwide want this...but politicians and warhawks only see contlict and domination.

I feel so bad for all those poor Ukrainians...they don't want to be under Russias thumb, and I don't blame them. If Russia does invade, I hope they get Afghanistaned again.

I have a friend who is from Ukraine. Most of his family is still there. Some were involved in protests in the past and are fully expecting bad things to happen if Russia invades. It's not good.

I had a very good friend that was very high up in the athletic office that swore to me that it was a 100% done deal with JG. He told me two days before it fell through.

He told me after that he had no clue why it didn’t work. He never found out……

I mean hindsight is 20/20 looking back,but agree there was to much smoke to not have been some sorta fire.To what extent,who knows.We could rehash that til spring practice.I personally believe Gruden will prob write a book on down the road or something like a Behind the eyes of John Gruden:Silver and Black the E-60 True Story.You get my drift,I just believe that's him and he can't help himself eventually.Right now though he's probably hid away in a fox hole somewhere near Rio De Janeiro or depending on what side u believe Nazi,Germany ..

Stephen Hargis also had sources that there was behind the scenes discussion about his staff. JG’s agent didn’t dispel the rumors for a long time.

I was just randomly watching some Ukranian tour YouTube vids by a English guy whose channel is called "Bald and Bankrupt" a while back, and it made me feel for the poor Ukrainian people...check out some of his vids if you like that sort of thing.

It cost me almost 60 to fill up a Kia Optima when I’ve filled it up for 35 before.

If only there were empirical research showing us that driving gass guzzlers was/is detrimental to the environment. If only we had other options?! Just wish Toyota could create a long lasting battery capable of going long distances before being recharged!

Sorry the gas price complaint doesnt hold much water with me. Americans are spoiled.

Kia Optima is not a gas guzzler….. as for the trucks…. Some of us have to do man work which requires a truck…. They Are slowly starting to put out trucks that can do something similar but they are just now starting to come out.

I do believe that global warming is real but I also believe some of the evidence is manipulated just like with COVID… imo if our politicians truly believed it then they would live it….What was the reason for all the leaders of the world to fly to one area to have a climate meeting…. I have been living on zoom meetings going on two years….. They all drive gas guzzling automobiles…. Power houses way too big for them…. Nothing about their lifestyle says that they believe climate change is real thing.

You also realize that a large portion of the electricity to charge those batteries is derived from fossil fuels?

I will try that with my wife and see where it gets me…. Here are the keys to my truck….. you go haul this sh&t off so we are not following socially constructive norms.
I have no issues with women driving trucks or doing anything that want to do…. I use to date a woman that drove a big rig…..

I always wonder what poor people are going to drive if we went all electric…. There are several people that drive 1,000 dollar junk cars all the time…. Won’t be many of them with electric vehicles.
