She is a nut. Nobody called them any names
Hold on now. im no dawn staley fan. but, pretty sure calling blck people monkeys, or anyone for that matter, isnt the same as being called bullies. If I were black, I'd be incredibly offended, and angry. Being called thugs, again, heresay - on top of that would piss me off even more. So, I think she's vindicated. And you would know how? She literally said people in the media were overheard saying such things lol. Talking dozens and dozens of media members...not that shocking some will say dumb shiz...or is the media suddenly bulletproof...ofc not.
No different than media calling our team bullies...if they had been saying worse in public and overheard we'd expect CRB to stand up for his team. No different.
She didn't have anything to make up lol.Did they really say that though or is she making it up like she did last year against BYU?
She said it was brought to her that media members were blabbering in public calling them: bullies, thugs, monkies, street fighters, something else but I forget. Crappy stuff. So, for those of us that don't know the back story, what did he media say/call them?
She didn't have anything to make up lol.
It was between Duke and BYU. Duke stood by their story. BYU team idk if even said anything. It was just the BYU admin that came out later and said they didn't have any audio proof (i mean how mamy mics are in the crowd of a volleyball match? Lol) therefore they didn't ban the particular fan in question for life.
So it came back to Duke's staff and players saying it happened (thus why security came over to their bench...) vs BYU admin.
Why even assume she would make up such things? For what purpose? They've had the bully tag for sometime, much like our team did this year. Not that surprising media says dumb shiz. But yet if this were us, folks would be full go against the media...
