Won’t help them this season but Napier is building up that defense quite nicely they still don’t have a QB though. I expect Florida to go 7-5 or 8-4 and make improvements and I wouldn’t be shocked if they beat us.

Our defense has to improve this season because I think our offensive production will take a step back. Our offense was so good last season bailed our defense out several times that we could overcome our bad defense.

And this kid’s ball skills are phenomenal. He’s almost identical to Ja’Keem Jackson from last year. That area must breed phenomenal athletes and have a good DB coach at the HS

No. You cannot "see it" by watching HIGHLIGHT videos. You do understand the difference between game film/video and highlight videos, right? You do understand why you cannot evaluate a player based on their HIGHLIGHTS, correct?

Seriously guy. You can fairly say the kid looks like a good prospect. You can respect the fact that the staff has evaluated him and is pursuing pretty hard. But stop acting like you have some ability to evaluate talent... even if you had the REAL video and evals.

RC on the pod says they have him ranked where they do because he lacks measureables. Said he’s only 5’10”, doesn’t have 4.5 speed on record anywhere, and last measured only 185ish. That he can’t play corner, might not be fast enough to be a slot receiver, so is likely a nickel or safety in college.

Sounds like they just focusing on measurements because he points out he (Boo) has shown out in virtually every camp/game.

But I did think what RC said was kind of weird because I’ve always just heard how explosive Carter is. I know that isn’t exactly straight line speed but it’s probably good enough in a real game

Agree. That's why I seldom get excited in the recruiting forum any more. Just too many times hearing how this guy or that guy was going to be a direction changing player... only to find out they were overhyped.

I just hope they keep pulling in talent and creating the depth others have so the misses in recruiting don't hurt.

Personally I can't lump LittleVol in that group. He seems to do things sometimes just to tweak people. The other two clowns seriously think they know something.

I think "fans" like these guys watch highlight video and see a guy make a move and a big play... without knowing that the next team saw a tell or tendency making that move ineffective for the rest of the season.

Me included, and you’re exactly right. A fan can turn on HUDL of AK or Trey Smith and say “kid can play”, and they’d be right. Film study is a whole other can of worms.
