I'll repost this here, it's fitting.
Our style of play is designed for Bama, IMO. We get a bye week to heal and coach fundamentals, and we get an extra week to prepare. Preparation is the best quality of this staff, and if they continue to advance their in-game adjustment skills, we can be very dangerous. For some reason, I just get this feeling that THIS GAME is what the coaches have been building up to, the game they've circled all year as the game they take out all the stops. Our coaches and our team play best after they feel they have nothing to lose. Down 21 to GA? F*** it, let's go for it. Big underdogs against the most recent dynasty of football that no one believes we have a chance against? Yea, I like our chances. They know they have nothin to lose and everything to gain in this game, and I wouldn't have it any other way with how this staff and team has acted this season.
I see Bama jumping out to a 14 point lead, Tennessee responds 14-7, Bama scores on a long drive to make it 21-7 with 6 left in the half. Tennessee scores quick after going hurry up, 21-14. Kiffin tries to push for a score to kill momentum, and Coker throws a pick to Justin Martin trying to attack the "weak side" of the field, Tennessee scores just before half to make it 21-21. The second half is anyone's game, as both teams fight for every yard, Bama trying to impose their will and feisty Tennessee refusing to be denied. We seemingly lose as Bama scores to put them up by one (FG's are plentiful in the second half), with less than a minute left. Dobbs throws completions to Smith, Malone, and Hurd. TO is called with 3 seconds left. 51 yard FG to win. Medley steps up. In this game, he either becomes the legend that Wilhoit always said he would be, or he becomes yet another footmark in our kicking woes since his mentor's departure. The kick is up. Which Medley is it?
