Good thing I had a gospel meeting tonight and couldn't watch the 2nd half. Looks like I didn't miss anything, and no reason to watch the rest of the game. We all wanted to desperately win this game, but there's just no way to overcome double digit injuries to starters and back-ups, as well as those trying to play being banged up. Disappointing that we couldn't have played this game with a full deck. We really needed a bye week at some point in this 4 game stretch...3 emotional games in a row, then having to play Bama is a lot to ask.

Snap and clear. Still a ton to play for this season. Take this bye week and get healthy.

Butch was hell bent on red shirting Jones then burn Tatum's in a second today. WTH I hate Butch right now. Freaking gave up today and the team did too.

Go join the UA bandwagon then. Everyone throwing out the he quit and the team quit is a bunch of crap. We have watched this team run a 7 game brutal schedule without a by week coming off 2 OT game and depleted defense and we get killed by the number one team with 2 and 3rd string players. They didn't quit, they got beat by a very good team. The defense had to be gassed because of our impotent offense and the horrid play calling by Debord who was determined to run up the middle if it killed him.

I have to be honest and take a full look at the year. This is a good team. We have talent.

However, we have had some bad luck and some self inflicted problems.

Our team has not once played a complete game.

Our team has not once started well. First half has been horrible. Every game.

Second half we have played much better. But why??!!

Today we were out matched. We didn't have the horses to run with Bama and we didn't scheme anything to help our weaknesses. We tried to play them straight up. We got taken to the woodshed.

Our coaches are stubborn. I hate this about them.

Our players play hard. They try. Sometimes they just don't execute. Today, it cought up to them and they quit at the end.

I hated this game. Never felt like we played hard or were ever in it.

Now we have to watch and hope UF falls. I think they will but we still need it to happen.

I would be shocked if we stay in the top 15. We have to win out and others have to fall in front of us.

If we get lucky to make it to ATL we have to realize that we could earn our 3rd loss. Again pushing us back in the rankings and potentially screwing with our bowl game.

Bad day. Horrible game. Pathetic effort.

So glad we have a bye. Get some rest. Get better as coaches and grow some damn balls.

I think you are right on in this post, especially about the effort. There was one point in the first half, maybe early in the second quarter after we got a stop, that it seemed like we had already accepted the loss as inevitable. No energy from the crowd, the team or the coaches. Was very surprised to think I was seeing that.

Also I find it inexcusable that Hurd played over Kamara.

I hate that he is playing second fiddle.

Just watch what he does in the NFL and we basically kept him on the bench and ran our tree stump into the o line time and time again.

Kamara is better than Hurd. In this system.
