Hadden shuts down Burton, Pearce goes off for his 3rd straight SEC defensive lineman of the week. Eason punks out the interior linemen Memphis style. We make a national statement Saturday.

All we have to do is perform as we should. Even half of that makes tamu a different game.

If the WRs catch the balls they should and Joe makes the throws he should, we should win. He doesn't need anything extravagant. Do. Your. Job. That's it.

A way to have some common blunders and still win is for Joe to keep it 10+ times.

DL doesn't need to play beyond their abilities either.

I think most of this is mental which is an astonishing improvement given the last dozen+ years.

Idk, I just feel like unless our pass attack takes an unexpected leap forward, I just dont think it sets up well for us. I pray im wrong though

My confidence in Joe flipping the switch is pretty low. WRs have disappointed as well. Joe and those guys will have to show out. Can they? Sure. Will they? I've got to see it to believe it.

How many drops and moments that just need common execution do we go over every game. Close here, wide open there, how was that not caught, etc. I'm worried if mincey is out. Need our best rush pro line because those moments I mentioned are sure to come up.

Uhmm...it wasn't a BAD game..but it sure as hell wasn't a really good-great game...we need a really good-great game from the passing attack this week.

I guess I don't think they have to play a great game to beat this Bama team, but they need to have a good enough game that it causes Bama to back off and open up the running attack.

Yup, and I have been critical of Milton, but it is also just as much on the WR’s as it is Milton in 80% of the situations. Idk if it’s coaching or what, but I dont see the passing problems just magically getting fixed saturday, which is why im not confident

Lot of factors in play. How many Bullspit symbols McGill uses, Travis Kelce's love life, Labron/MJ. All comes to a head this weekend. Pass Rush messes with Millroe's head. Vols win 30-17.

I agree...but I think Saban will do what SC and TAMU did not do and load the box if/when they see their defensive front can't slow our running game...that is when Milton and the recievers will HAVE to burn them.

We are probably completely screwed if Bama can slow our running game down without doing putting more guys in the box...but SC and TAMU neither one could do it...Florida did, but that wasn't THIS OL.

I really believe that Joe and Co will have to win this game.

Joe having one great game...finally. It really is that simple, but I know it feels impossible at this point....but even JG had a few really good games...so

I mean even if we run wild like last week...it doesn't mean we will score very much...like last week....but if Joe and the recievers could open it up....we could and would whip their arse.

I was with our Vols at Auburn when JG had one of his great games
