How do we end up with every bust 5* QB

It’s too early to call him a bust lol. I’d never imagine in a million years that Cade bum ass Klubnik would be balling out for Clemson at any point.

Nico was one of the most highly rated recruits in the nation coming out of HS. It’s in the coaches to develop him. Play calling isn’t the issue this game. His poor performance is and a big part of that is on the coaches.

They made a good point at halftime. We are a running football team right now. We are not a passing team. We have no passing offense. We have to get that out of our heads right now. We need to get the running game executing and run off that.

Our defense is doing their part.

Nobody seems to get this. If I were Bama I would just stack the box and put my corners on islands. The end result will certainly be a bad pass, drop, or turnover if it get tested.

Nico needs to start just take off the moment he starts to feel pressure. He’s trying so hard to force stuff when I noticed multiple times he could have taken off and at least turned a sack into a minimal gain or more if he can shake the QB spy. Maybe him making plays with his legs will wake up his arm and shake off the yips.

Might be difficult for this game with his back the way it is but still..

He has to see the guy completely open and then let it go and by then it’s way late. It’s crazy how bad he sees the field.

Starting to worry that Heupel’s offense is more gimmick than genius.

Still comes down to execution, and we’re not doing that.

I mean there are points left out there so I can’t call the offense gimmicky.

It does need to evolve and develop tobe more consistent at the short and intermediate passing game instead of being runs and deep shots. Adding more motion and designed rolling pockets would be nice as well

We've had three players running behind the defense in their own zip code and the ball hasn't even been remotely catchable.

Reigning in the play calling... Not because nothing is working, but because it feels like your QB executing routes on air is impossible. Not ideal for sure. 7-0 is truly amazing though. Jermod McCoy... Man

And that OL. But yes, Nico is really not performing and I think he's the biggest part of the problem this game. OL isn't great, but they're doing OK, good enough that we should be winning.

This game is on Nico, period. Had time early on and flat out wasn't even close on two wide open TDs then throws a STUPID int. I don't understand CJH not setting him down, the defense deserves better, don't give a **** what Nico was rated when he came out he's been terrible for 2 1/2 weeks, this is hurting him more than sitting him would. Just a damn **** show, give someone else a chance., Yes, I realize the backup made a bad throw on his first cold throw but Nico's been making them for a couple weeks or more so I can't hold one stupid throw against him at this point. Hell, I don't care if we put the Freshman in and run every play but this is not working.
