This game is on Nico, period. Had time early on and flat out wasn't even close on two wide open TDs then throws a STUPID int. I don't understand CJH not setting him down, the defense deserves better, don't give a **** what Nico was rated when he came out he's been terrible for 2 1/2 weeks, this is hurting him more than sitting him would. Just a damn **** show, give someone else a chance., Yes, I realize the backup made a bad throw on his first cold throw but Nico's been making them for a couple weeks or more so I can't hold one stupid throw against him at this point. Hell, I don't care if we put the Freshman in and run every play but this is not working.

It’s quite literally on Nico today. The plays have been there.

He was hitting them vs Kent st.
He’s been pressured , hit , sacked constantly in SEC games and he’s regressed fundamentally, confidently and every way.
To the point he’s terrible.

We've had three players running behind the defense in their own zip code and the ball hasn't even been remotely catchable.

Reigning in the play calling... Not because nothing is working, but because it feels like your QB executing routes on air is impossible. Not ideal for sure. 7-0 is truly amazing though. Jermod McCoy... Man

Having some successful play calls doesn't absolve the atrocious ones. It's not all bad, but I'd say it's bad more often than good.

But yes Nico is a big part of the problem too.

Also, personally worrying if Halzle isn’t the weak link.

He inherited Hooker and him & Heupel wanted Milton (3 years & never did much). Him being OC & QB Coach and our 2nd year 5 star is making mistakes that he shouldn’t.

I'll be very disappointed if we run conservo-offense and wait to lose in the 2nd half.

6 has been rattled since opening drive. 18 looks special against Group of 5 teams, 3 has regressed and is to small to not be a reliable catcher. Ethan Davis should get 10 targets but of course Heup has fell in love with a slow no athletic upperclassman.

What does that say to other bluechips? If you want to recruit elite QBs, thew wanna know they will get ample opportunities.
