Been listening to Jason Mraz - I won't give up because it's my relationship with Tennessee football. o_O

You may be surprised. I see a monster day, 200 for Hurd, and Kamara and Dobbs getting their piece as well.

ARK run defense is overrated. Just like Floridas was built on cream puffs, Arkansas is built on throwing teams.

This game is on my birthday, and I will be rooting for our Vols as hard as ever. But the more I research and what not, the more I think Arky comes in a beats us by 14+. I hope my gut is WAY WAY wrong.

Care to expand on why you think Arkansas beats UT by 2+ TDs?

I'm not saying right or wrong...yet...but I just want to see the reasoning.

I don't think Arkansas is more talented at all. I just think lots of factors make this a high risk game for Tennessee.

1. I don't think we can exploit their biggest weakness - the secondary. CFB is becoming more and more like the NFL in one way - matchups matter A LOT. If you can't exploit a weakness, you're in trouble.

2. You saw the trouble we had with BGSU's offensive line - the Arkansas line is better. They will give Allen tons of time, and our secondary has been lacking in both coverage and approach (8 yards off a FL WR?!). Arkansas has gone back to running it more, which allows Allen to throw it 25-30 times, and he'll complete 70% of those. His average completion is almost 14 yards per. Our defense has been a huge disappointment imo.

3. Their TOP dominance hurts us - we can't have wasted possessions, and this offense hasn't proven they can consistently move the ball.

4. Arkansas offense is better than Florida's, imo.

5. Let down from Tennessee players. Tough emotional loss. If they underestimate Arkansas because they're 1-3, we'll get run. Arky is better than their record shows. Should be 3-1 imo, 2-2 at worst.

I hope this game works out better as a birthday present than mine did. Mine was the OK game. :(
