Looking more and more like 2022 was a fluke. I’m hoping that’s not the case. As for coaches who I’ve been suspect on since last year, Halzle and Elarbee are at the top of that list.Don’t think we will get past FL. It’s a Mind **** with them. From what I seen tonight, we’ll do good to make 8-9 wins.
We came in completely unprepared and coming off a bye week. Play calling is way too vanilla, penalties, way too many mental mistakes for a championship caliber team.
Nico is young, but you either have that killer mentality or you don’t, and you definitely DO NOT run out of bounds.
Yea well I'm 31 and it's been decades of losing for me. So I'm ready for the roller coaster to bring success. And 2024 is another lost year in decades of lost years. It wasn’t just said about tonight. I have no influence over the coaching staff.
Just emotions…but college football has been wild. It’s a roller coaster.
Is it the OC calling the plays or is it the OC relaying info to Heupel and he calls the plays/they take turns or something. How does it actually work? I thought it was more if the latter which anyways means we need someone better up there in the booth. That was a flash in a pan. Go back and look at the turnover luck from that season - completely unsustainable. Also, as I stated earlier, Golesh was calling the plays. We have seen a major offensive fall off since. Keep the wool over your eyes, we can meet on the middle in 2 years.

#Vols RB Dylan Sampson: I think we were just real frantic. On the penalties, going on the road, we just have to keep our composure. They did a good job disguising their blitzes.

Dylan Sampson on Nico Iamaleava running out of bounds on final play: “I just walked up to him and told him we got him. .. we’re not going to let him beat himself up for that.”
I do to McGill, Heupel and White saved our football program and put us in the spotlight again for the right reasons and for that coach should get a lot of grace. BUT, this is Tennessee and eventually 9 and 10 win seasons won't be enough. The expectation is championships, if we can turn on Fulmer, we can turn on any coach. I love Heupel too and am trying to not take him for granted after the last 3 idiots we had to endure but this is a bad loss, no other way to paint it.Well...that sucked. And suddenly everybody hates our coach...and people wonder why I am always so cautious. We aren't as good as most of us thought we were..but this is mostly attributable to one thing.
I told you guys today that the SEC is a minefield...you can't be off by even a little, especially on the road or you get whipped.
They ruined our season with our help...but I'm still a Vol, and I still love Josh Heupel.
6’6 Bryce Young…lmaoIt just sucks that we finally get an elite, #1 QB recruit, and it turns out he’s not that great. He has time to grow, but man watching Alabama bring in 5-star after 5-star for years and having them ready to rip it from day one and seeing our guy struggle to make basic decisions is maddening.
No ****. It definitely starts with you Heup.GoVols247

Josh Heupel on final play: Nico ended up scrambling off of it. At the end of the day, you’ve got to get rid of the ball and give your guys an opportunity to make a play. Nico, just like all of our guys, wishes he had played better. He’s disappointed with it, but he’s got to come back and bounce back from it.
Josh Heupel: Disappointing night for our team. It starts with me. We’ve got to all get better.
That’s why in the first year of a 12 team playoff you should be happy that these kinds of losses don’t doom you. This coach literally brought us back to playing high level games after 15 years.Yea well I'm 31 and it's been decades of losing for me. So I'm ready for the roller coaster to bring success. And 2024 is another lost year in decades of lost years.

Bama lost to Vandy today. They had Saban as a coach previously. It just sucks that we finally get an elite, #1 QB recruit, and it turns out he’s not that great.
