And if they do rush 3 can we run on them like we did tonight? Like I said we’ll learn a lot next week.
Teams pretty much have to drop 8 against this offense.

Really depends on if you can get pressure out of it occasionally (and sneak a blitz from a LB or CB)

So are we good again, or still nah?
Still mediocre to decently good, same as offseason. Not much was ever going to be discovered vs BGSU, barring an anomaly.

About what I expected to me. Some poor periods, but mostly solid. Far from great, but we looked pretty good as far as fundamentals. We were mostly able to out-talent and muscle them.

Pitt will be a ton tougher, but nothing tonight made me think we aren't still nose-to-nose with them. I do feel better that, if Pitt shuts down our passing routes, we can have an effective rushing attack. Didn't get why Joe was so lackadaisical and flat-footed. Has to stay nimble and prepared to make decisive actions moving forward. Will take too many sacks vs legit pass rushes.

GBO!

Some of yall should consider accepting that we are not a serious contender. Thats ok for this year. Let the expectations stay low and lets enjoy the build. We've got so much room to grow.

I like Milton. Wasnt perfect but didn't get a ton of help from receivers. Made some nice runs and some nice throws especially early on. A couple he would probably like to have back. I could see him having some incredible games along the way if he figures it out. We need that kinda ceiling at QB to have a punchers chance.

I think we'll have a pretty fun year with plenty of growing pains. Got to keep improving. Tonight was not the finished product.

Go big orange forever

Dominating performance and we should’ve scored way more than we did, not trying to sound negative but how many times have we said this in the last 10 years? Not trying to be negative but I’ve heard this way to many times.
We only win because of the talent difference. We did not out execute a very inferior team and our coaching staff did not out-coach their staff. I’m afraid it’s going to be a long season but tonight’s game can be completely irrelevant to next weeks performance so I’m not going to dismiss the season after one game.

Solid team play. Two or three drives were stopped by players other than #7.
I saw Hyatt drop two passes...one was a fastball thrown a little behind him and the second was a perfect throw. I also saw Milton not see numerous guys running open, make two late overthrows to a wide open Tillman, throw one "up" to the corner of the endzone that might've hit 10' in height, and complete very few passes after the first quarter. He had a bad game against a horrible team. That doesn't mean he's a lock to stink it up the entire season, but any unbiased eyes would see that he didn't play well. I'm plenty biased and would usually look for reasons to see sunshine and rainbows, but he was mostly ineffective throwing the ball.

I think it was Leak (??) -- had the most beautiful throws, but nobody was around to catch them. I want to just love our quarterback, but I fear he holds the ball too long, and often inaccurate. Maybe feeling negative in a 30 point win is a good thing.

We played better than they did in about every aspect in the second half..and did so without showing anything exotic. I’d say that’s superior coaching
