I think your team will play a lot better this weekend and probably beat BYU convincingly. GSU game I thought several things. UT coaching staff looked ahead and didn't prepare for GSU. The plan was to involve as many players as possible, keep them engaged because second year is when players are more inclined to transfer. Missed assignments were the result of those two things. And GSU's QB ran their offense very well. Obviously plenty to work on, but it was more embarrassing than it was a future indicator in my opinion.

I still like Pruitt. I like JG. I just think he's so scared about getting destroyed he can't stand in the pocket.

My confidence is waning.

Man that loss has me all sorts of shook. Now I think we have an aftershock, drop this one too. Then get back on track against Chatt before getting heartbroken and/or publicly executed by Florida.

Maybe there are 22 guys that can actually look like they’ve played the game of football. And maybe the coaches pull their heads out of their asses. That’d be good. GBO.

I think LOS problems will allow BYU to dominate TOP and get ahead. UT will press in the second half and commit a couple of TOs, sealing the deal.

I think a lot of our boys might be ashamed and or disgusted with how we played and they will step up, in terms of intensity and focus. I think our coaches too were stung, and know they gotta do more and better. Still BYU will come in having smelled some blood in the water, so they will be more energized than they would have been.

As long as JG is at QB I will not predict UT to win except against Chattanooga. The rest of the team has to elevate to compensate for him before I will pick the Vols to win the other games. Add in the pathetic mess called defense.

So it's BYU until it isn't.

The only positive I can even imagine existing is that the players we have on our team can't be as bad as what we saw last week... it's just not possible. The coaches must have royally effed things up. Surely the "greatest coaching staff in the nation" can fix it fast.

I'm still pissed, but I'm still a vol fan... 31 - 28 vols.

On the bright side, we prolly spent more time prepping for BYU than GA St, and we’re basically the underdogs since most people are picking BYU.
