The defense played well in the first half up until the end of the 2nd Qtr when they started losing contain on Ramsey. Then he ran wild all over them for the entire 3rd qtr. I was losing my mind every time he took off down the field and nobody was spying him. Then they mostly fixed their mistakes in the 4th qtr, when it really mattered.

Overall, I was proud of their resilience and overcoming diversity, but I thought they could've played much better than they did.

Over pursuit by the DL was killing us with Ramsey. It was like they forgot how to play their gaps.....

they made some adjustments that got our LB's out of the middle of hte field, forced them to cover.....we finally adjusted and basically spied him. but by that time, we were in scramble mode trying to play catch up.

but you have to give that staff credit for the adjustments they made in the second qtr. they were NOT going to beat us straight up...our defense was all over everything the were doing for basically the entire first half until that last drive, and the 1st drive of the 3rd qtr....when they got Ramsey more involved with the run game.

they're biggest mistake was the clock management at the end of the 1st half. had a time out and didn't take it and spiked it with 3 seconds....they had enough time for a play to the end zone with that time out.

our mistake was at the end of the game when we iced their kicker....IU was going to burn their last time out there!!! anyway.

it was a helluva game....

Yes, I said they played well in the first half. They made 1/2 time adjustments and Pruitt/Ansley never solved it. The moved the ball with ease.

I'm proud that they overcame but to say the defense was good in the second half is well, delusional.

He was only good when we rushed 3 or 4. When we blitzed or rushed an extra guy, he was contained pretty well.

They stepped up when it counted, but should never have needed to. Offense was abysmal and the defense fell apart from about halfway through the 2nd qtr to the beginning of the 4th qtr.

The only time he hurt us is when we rushed 3-4. When we blitzed he was totally ineffective. I told my son that last drive they had that I would send the house every down. If he beat us then he deserved it. Letting him sit back and pick us apart was crazy. If covered well, he would scramble for 10-20 yards.

To be honest I am not sure but how could you get hit directly in the head with a tire going 40 and then face plant doing 40 and live. Was not even twitching. Just assuming......
Honestly wasn’t looking that hard. I apologized and said my peace. Watching the game and drunk so get off my back...

I doubt think he actually died. Unless it was later due to complications or something.

From the article: Pedestrian is left with fractured skull after a runaway TYRE hits him

"He said that Mr Fernandes was taken to hospital with a fractured chest and a fractured skull but was now stable and 'feeling much better."
