We've used 8 timeouts because our defense cant lineup correctly in the past 2 games. For a supposed defensive guru thats an issue.

What is being forgotten in all of this is the dirty, cheap way UGA took out Elijah Simmons. Simmons was a difference maker in this game and was missed. This is second time they have taken out our top run stoppers with dirty plays by center.

I just hope Carvin or Cooper or whoever plays center next season is better than Kennedy.

Kennedy can make the calls, but his blocking is a liability.

Can we all just come to a consensus and agree that “playing a good first half” means absolutely nothing. It was said many times under Butch and is meaningless.

We just racked up another 20+ point loss against our rival and didn’t look remotely competitive again.

I agree with this. It’s like being proud that you got the first 50 questions correct on a test, even though you missed the other 50.

Went into this season saying I wouldn’t get too down about loses because of how crazy this year has been and how crazy it is for colleges trying to play during this time. However, it’s hard not to get frustrated over a complete collapse.

JG isn’t great, but I’m flummoxed how anyone can think This game was on him. He was constantly under duress, he had no running game, and the plays called for him were suspect.

It’s not only on him but at this point, he is what he is. Inconsistent, can’t get the ball out on time, missing blitzes. He had 3 ****ing turnovers in the 2nd half. You can’t have that from your leader

Weird season...new SC Coach, but then covid...

Then miss lots of time when we do start practicing & no out of conference games to tune-up. I will say the defense is good enough to keep us in any game.

But against elite defenses (like Georgia & Bama) we will be in trouble if the OL and offense can’t move the ball. Really disappointed in where the OL is right now Friend has been the only positional coach here since the beginning and has arguably the most talent.

To be fair Alabama, Georgia and Florida are a combined 75-13 since 2018. Nobody is really having consistent success against them. I think it only gets better through recruiting. We did some good things in the game. Oline really laid an egg imo and we have got to get better covering the middle of the field.

I agree, and I too am guilty...just sick of losing like this. Our OL is not horrible...they just had a bad game against a great front seven.

It's not an unusual game pattern where a significant talent disparity exists--play 'em close the first half, fall away in the second.
