Agreed. And I doubt Virginia tech saw what Herndon hooker turned in to as well..

I think many of us, self included, assumed a little too much about where Nico was in his development. I've seen enough of him this year to know he's super talented with an extremely high ceiling.. He's just not the now.

I also think we thought a little too much of the wrs. Good.. Yes. But I'm not sure they have that competitive edge that says get the ball.. It's mine... And I'll fight for it.

The o line.. Good run blockers.. That's proven. Pass pro.. Very meh. Tight ends.. They've been good. Running backs.. Very good.

So lots of pieces are there.. some Needs some work, and for Nico, I think this season will definitely help him Going forward... Experience is a fantastic teacher.

Losing sucks especially when you can look at it and say you played a part in it.
Losing does suck, but we’ve lost a lot more in recent history. Blowout our next two opponents and maybe sneak into the playoff and at the very least we’ve taken our next step in the right direction, best case we hit a hot streak at the right time.

Even if we miss the playoffs, we’re set up as well as we have been in a while going into 2025. It’s bittersweet, but better than where we were last year and much better than we were five years ago.

Nico's biggest problem it seems to me like he is always looking for the big play instead of taking what they give him. The big plays will come but you have to stay on the field to get your chances.

He wasn’t the problem at all yesterday the biggest problem were both sides of the line getting outplayed

Not just talking about yesterday, looking at the year as a whole. He is a great talent but he has to learn to take what is there. That's just what I've noticed this year.

We got WHIPPED on the line both OL and DL no doubt.
After thinking about I wouldn't say Whipped as much as out schemed, out coached or just not properly prepared for what they faced.....take your pick, they all fit to some extent.

Yeah I mean it wasn’t as bad as years prior but they just can’t seem to play with that same intensity that I saw against Bama. Georgia is Heupel’s last obstacle in the SEC but truthfully they are for everybody in this conference if you want to be number 1 in the country. Kirby still has trouble with Bama. Fulmer had trouble beating spurrier…is what it is we will see them again next year

I think it’s backwards. I see Thornton or bru open deep and watch Nico stare down where he’s going.

You had it right the first time. Whipped. It wasn't scheme, it was execution. When they rushed 3 against 6 blockers and immediately got pressure, you know the players aren't executing. When our vaunted DL got almost no pressures the entire game despite UGA only using their OL to block for the most part, you know it's an execution issue more than scheme.

We got whipped.

they used power and bunch formations. lots of movement. that said, not sure we had our guys they had theirs. we chose to hide.

Both of you show video of this…if you are going to make an argument prove this
The announcers pointed it out at one point in the fourth quarter last night and earlier in the year the shorter stuff was wide open on several occasions and he chose to go long. He's young but I'll let you go back and review all the game film on your own to disprove it. To me it's not worth arguing over.

I just don’t like the talent we have at WR, love Bru but he isn’t the best we have had on the outside in a long shot. Same with Thornton

Worst game of the year for both lines in my mind, they need to bring it these last two games of the year

I do not understand how our 2 loss team, 2nd in SEC is held to different standard than others.
It’s our SOS. NCST and Oklahoma sucking really hurt us.

In terms of a bad road loss and a good road loss, we are the same as Bama. While we hold the H2H against them, their schedule has been objectively much harder. They have more quality wins.

Not saying I agree or it’s right, but that is the only justification that makes sense unless the committee just unexplainably prefers Bama.

I’m over it today. We should finish regular season 10-2 for the second time in 3 years. 5 years ago I would have killed for that.

Just still concerned at the inability to win tough games on the road and the regression of offense. IMO Heupel has earned the benefit of the doubt this far.

Games on the road vs Arkansas, USC, and Florida were bad…the others make more sense. If we can just win the ones we are suppose to on the road we are good. Not going to get mad over losing to a Georgia team that hasn’t lost at home in like 5 years

I don’t think it’s unexplainable. They absolutely prefer Bama because of their history. They’ve proven time and again that H2Hs don’t matter and there’s a bias towards teams with recent championship success.

Yep. We have one ranked win, every other 2 loss SEC team has 2 ranked wins. It's that simple.
