Receiving yards through 10 games are the same.

Them being in the NFL has nothing to do with that season.

We knew they were going to mug us. Its well known now we dont beat tough coverage well. Analytics likely say mug em, and prevent big plays, take chance on PI versus 7 pts.

Uhh no. His TDs are low because he can’t ever hit wide open targets down field in stride

58% completion against the tougher opponents on our schedule is all that needs to be said.

I’m not blind like some fans. QB definitely warrants a ton of criticism. Most fans don’t want to because then they have to swallow the “we paid 8mil for this QB” pill

JG got **** shoved down his throat for the same issues but Nico gets all the excuses, got it

I don’t understand how people can watch Nico literally overthrow every deep receiver and be like yup he is just young and inexperienced…..

Like no…. He just can’t make those throws he literally launches them. Has all the arm talent in the world and overthrows our fastest receivers. It’s ridiculous.

A lot of that is coaching as well. The OC works with him all the time obviously, Golesh was with Hooker. We gotta get better in that area

Banks coaches the safeties. Martinez coaches the corners and star. Safeties weren’t where they needed to be most of the game. I didn’t have an issue with the corners for the most part. Boo had some busted coverage a couple times.

Yes it does. It means jg was throwing to all star players who made it easier for him. Nico is throwing to not all star players, so it's harder for him.

Yep on the deep routes, the receivers were beating their DB’s most of the game. If he had Hooker’s accuracy, the game isn’t close. He hit them earlier in the season, so I’m not sure what has happened these last several weeks.

That legitimately has nothing to do with how they played that year, but okay more excuses for Nico. Lol

Only thing that literally matters is the stats. They have the same stats through 10 games.

This. JG got hundreds and hundreds of yards throwing the ball as high as he could, sometimes not even close to anybody, and getting lucky that his elite WR would go find it and dominate the DB trying to stop him. That's what having elite wr does for a qb.

Nico would have 25 INT if he took the jg approach, our WR aren't good enough for that.

Though I will say Nico overthrowing wide open wr streaking to the end zone over and over and over is getting hard to watch.

It "legitimately" does have everything to do with it. Players need to be good in college to make it to the NFL. Stats are not the only thing that matters.

If you put jg out there with a Rice, Megatron, and Moss, of course he's going to have better stats than any QB in history. Does that mean he's better than any QB in history? And if you put me and you out there for Nico, he's going to have a zero completion rate. Does that mean he sucks?

What kind of statement is that? Stats are the only thing that matters? That's not even close to true.
