1. Cats will get some yardage on Towles throws down the sideline. However, we will defend it better b/c Martin>Moseley at that spot opposite Sutton and Bama's wide outs>UK's wide outs.
2. D-line will build on their performance vs. Bama and at least match the sack total from that game.
3. Dobbs, Hurd, and Kamara will combine for 300 yards rushing and 3 TD's.
4. Vols will win the turnover battle.
5. Vols will score at least one TD on special teams.

This is one of the games that #chainmovinggang is just gona be unstoppable. Hope it's black vs orange.

I think so too. I'm just saying they both have good enough defenses where they could present some issues for a little while despite their poor offenses. South Carolina and Kentucky neither have the defense to stop us or the offense to try and hang in a shootout.

So how many rushing yards do you guys think we get this week? Bama was giving up around 65 per game and under 3 ypc and we put up 132 and 3.4 ypc on them (that's counting Dobbs' 5 sacks). UK is giving up 170 per game and 4.3 ypc and has given up the second most rushing TDs in the SEC (15)

We might not even need to pass the ball all game. Especially if it rains as expected, I say we just pound the ball down their throats and let Dobbs/Hurd/Kamara go for as many yards as they can get. Unless we blow them out from the get go, in which case Kelly needs some practice as well.

Completely depends on the plan with Dobbs. It's 250 without letting him go wild, 300 with. Only 50 additional yards, because Dobbs takes carried away from the other RB's.

Hurd gets 200 this week

I say Hurd gets 125-150 rushing with 20-40 passing, Kamara gets 60-80 rushing with 30-40 passing, and Dobbs gets 250-270 passing with 50-70 on the ground.

I really want to see at least 350 yards passing with 4 TDs.. At least 1/2 of those in the 2nd half by Dormady.

Run game: John Kelly 115 all 2nd half. Evan Berry 78 from one jet sweep. 1st half Kamara 154 with 2 TDs. Hurd 175 with 3 TDs on 4 carries.

Kick/Punt returns: Evan Berry houses both kickoffs (uk kicks a 53 yd FG so has the 2 KOs) Sutton and Kamara each house one. They pile up at least 250 yards on returnsÂ… Then Kentucky just starts kicking it Out Of bounds .

Final score: uk 3 Tennessee 94


Oh, forgot that Medley drills a 54 yd FG as time expires... Team and coaches go wild!
(Sometime today Medley will be kidnapped.
May have already happened. He will be released on campus Friday morning unharmed...in a public statement, he tells the media that he was never in danger, but was forced to work on his kicking mechanics in a backyard with a field goal. He was fed and allowed to rest appropriately. He never saw their faces. They were dressed in all Orange. They called each other by apparent code names Volatil and Volatil Junior. He has requested that no investigation occur. No pursuit of the "Volatil Kicking Gang " will happen)

Actually, Medley has requested that Tennessee wear all Orange to honor the Volatils :)
uk has agreed to allow the all Orange clad Volunteers and the uk team will wear their black uniforms :hi:

Medley after story: in a miraculous turnaround, Aaron Medley doesn't miss another FG during his Tennessee career. This include a NC last second game winner from 61 yards. Vols were tied with osu as time is expiring. Looks like the game is going into overtime... Until CBJ takes his last timeout with 2seconds to go. meyer sends 2 players to the endzone (a la auburn-alabama). The kick has such force that he could have made it from 70... One of the osu players actually signals the kick is good :)

He thanks the Volatils on national TV... Shortly thereafter after there's a statue placed in the kicking area of Medley and two hooded figures. The Tennessee kickers take pride in dressing the statues in all Orange as tribute. :salute:

I did forget the Defensive stats...

DL accounts for 10 sacks (sets an SEC record) 5 from Barnett :)

JRM and Kirkland each get a sack as well...


uk gets past the 50 only once in the game, their first drive. There they score 3...

4 interceptions by the secondary...TKJ goes for 6 until the review shows his foot on the line at the 38 yd line.

4 of the front 7 have double digit tackles. 21 TFL spread through those stats.

Punter only has one....60 yds in the air, but rolls another 12 to be downed at the 1.

The announcers state that the Tennessee game plan and executon by the players were near perfect. Very reminiscent of a Neyland led team historically. Total domination of the opposing team in all phases of the game.
