You can’t play man against an option. Wtf you talking about. One missed tackle on the outside would result in a Touchdown. Hence why we played zone so that we would have a defender in the area if the outside wasn’t contained. All of their big gains before the half were while we were in man to man.
I thought that was obvious to everyone...hell we played a 4-4 for a while till Gran started rolling 3 wrs way out to one side. That got us back to 7 in the box...people bitching about the halftime adjustments are Simple Jacked up.

I could have went to the game too, a friend here gets passes from his company and he would have taken me, but my nephew got married yesterday, so I couldn't.

It’s Minnesota...... are they even a top 50 program lol. They are on the same level as these “nobodies” you’re talking about. I didn’t know beating the #4 team wasn’t impressive.

Minnesota actually has more claimed national titles and conference titles than we do. Sure, the SEC is tougher. They are only about 15 wins behind Wisconsin in all time wins. They have a storied history and just haven’t really been nationally relevant lately.

That division they are in is awful.

Again, it’s Minnesota. It’s like wake forest starting 9-0 and complaining about their conference or saying they “should win these games”. Minnesota doesn’t have top tier anything about their program. Roster, facilities, recruiting, money anything. So when they play teams like Purdue, Rutgers, Nebraska etc it’s not the same as when a school with top recourses does. They have also destroyed the last 3 teams they played leading up to leading the whole game basically and beating #4 Penn State.

The dude is 9-0 at Minnesota after taking WMU to a N6 bowl and giving Wisconsin all they could handle. If you can’t see the good coaching in that idk what to tell you.

Not saying Minnesota is a juggernaut, but Wake Forest is not even in the same stratosphere as Minnesota in football history. They have a better history than Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, and even Iowa in their own division. Not too far behind Wisconsin.
