I don’t think it’s as bad as that. improvement doesn't show up consistently all the time. The OL looked great last week against a top ranked defense. They were awful tonight. The defense stopped the run and bullied Ky’s OL last week, couldn’t do anything this week. We have improved but it didn’t show tonight. Hopefully it will next week
The reason we looked good last week was two fold. One, KY was way over rated, and two, they we're one dimensional. Our o-line is slaw and has been since week one. Or OC doesn't do them any favors as this offense is as vanilla as it gets. I've said it before and I'll say it again, these coaches are used to playing with great talent. They're having a tough time learning how to do more with less.

What’s positions are they worse at than last year?
I said this year. Everyone wanted to see improvements throughout the season. This team was no better today than anytime last year. Butch could have gotten beat down by Mizzou on senior day in Knoxville.

We we're abused in every facet of this game. Defense, offense, and special teams. We we're out coached on both sides of the ball. It was a total embarrassment. You can blame the players only so much. These coaches sucked today. Imo

I think the team still have that losing mentality. If we can keep it close and nothing overwhelming happens, they don't revert back to form. You have to play pretty much score to score with Mizzou, and that interception when we were driving at the end of the half killed the team.

Coaches are either good football coaches, or they are not. I do not think they sucked today...but you keep on scapegoating them if it makes you feel better.

Fahr em all!..is that how it's done?

It was a combo of players and coaches that sucked today, but the coaching was so bad it put the players in more difficult situations to make plays. After the win last week and it being Senior Day - they all should have been amped up to play. They weren't. If the players are truly hitting the S&C hard during the season like they did pre-season, that alone could explain the inconsistency. They were slow to react to everything on both sides of the ball and ST. Coaches that cannot motivate players to give their all more than one game in a row are not getting it done.

Helton was back to being good for half a game when it really didn't matter. Pruitt's scheme and calls were really, really bad. I have no idea how either of them thought this was the way to approach Mizzou. It was the exact opposite. Once the D tired some it was over. Our only hope for next week is that Ole Miss beats Vandy badly to remove some incentive to make a bowl. The coaches need the bowl as bad as the players so they have more time to get their acts together.

C'mon. Not even InVOL wants to fire coaches now. They will get their 3 years or so to turn it around. But they have royally messed up a couple games this season.

See..you all call me a nega, but I'm not the one that criticizes the staff when the players suck at everything.

You just player blame. Sanctimonious ****.
I blame them because it's the truth. I'm not the one being sanctimonious. The PLAYERS didn't block or tackle worth a dang, cover or pursue, and were also out of position constantly...example..the safeties were absolute garbage at rotating down quickly on those corner blitzes everybody is calling Pruitt dumb for...even though Mizzou scored even more in the second half after he stopped.

Invol, this is a good staff. The problem is JG got concussed early and our cornerbacks are young and have physical tackling issues. I have seen improvement and you do as well up to last week. JG is that much of a difference maker for us and KC is not very good and we don’t win with JG but game would’ve been more competitive

I don’t think that was a winnable game even if there was a perfect game plan.

We don’t have a defense that can compete against a good QB. We’ve known that forever.

We could have won with JG, better player execution on both sides of the ball, and if Lock didn't decide to play great today. He was dropping some dimes today, that he hasn't been doing in every game.
