I’ll be the first to call myself out. I thought it would be a nail biter like the 98 Syracuse game. I was completely wrong and thankfully I was (I still don’t want to be lumped into the ‘blah, blah, we’re going to lose because of…….but, I hope I’m wrong crowd). I hope everyone can forgive me for my mistake.Wild to me some of yans were worried about this one. Gonna have to get on board with the fact we have a real dude as HC

Really impressive given that Fowler wasn't thereA few observations:
1)DL is the strength of this team. Holy crap.
2) Jermod McCoy is a PLAYER
3) Sampson is elite, protect him at all costs
4) OL was very good, not great. Allowed rush attack to execute high level
5) Miles Kitselman is much more than a blocking TE
6) We missed Pili more than we knew
7) Nico is more mobile and quick than I thought. Also impressed with composure.
8) We showed we can score without the deep shots
9) Thought the coaching was good tonight
10) Hackstreet and Fowler had to give us our flowers for this win
It’s GREAT to be a Vol today ladies and gents.
It blows my mind that we have the perception our offense "wasn't clicking"...I don’t even think our offense was clicking for most of the night. That’s crazy.
