'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Ohio State Pre-game/Game Thread

I believe they're going to throw a little more than with Michigan, but I also believe they're still going to try and run early to open up the passing lanes. Ryan wants to prove they can run the ball and seems determined to keep doing it. We've been vulnerable across the middle with TEs so I'd expect they'll try that some. They're probably going to try and confuse our young linebackers to slow them down. On defense I predict they'll try to stop the run as priority number one. They will dare us to throw the ball and then start disguising drop back coverage and blitzes to try to force a mistake by Nico.

If Nico can make the open throws and our defense can generate a pass rush that doesn't take 10 seconds to get home I think we have a really good chance to win this game. Go Vols!

We've looked so much better this year when we went tempo.
Night and day difference IMO. Look almost unstoppable when using tempo. Hope we come out of the gates with it and pour it on. It’s win or go home. No reason to leave anything in the tank; no reason to play conservative with Nico. Let him run the ball. Open this offense up completely and let it run at warp speed!

Weather models trending colder for the game next weekend with lows in the teens. Quite interesting to see how fast or slow that system moves as we could possibly be playing in snow.

So are our DL and OL "tells" a real thing and does the coaching staff know? Multiple sources claim it. Seems like they should know and should get on that pronto.

Well, that could impact their passing game which is a good thing for us. Bad weather may help us more than them.
