'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Ohio State Pre-game/Game Thread

Another weather update for you Hooligans.

Models are still in constant agreement that temperatures will be well below freezing in Columbus with increasing confidence in snow and snow showers during the game.

Also,

There is a system moving through our area Thursday into Friday that could produce snowfall causing traveling delays.

If you’re going to the game, drink plenty of beer to make you feel warmer and bundle up!

One argument I've heard unchallenged is

"Oh, OSU did well against UGA after the Michigan loss a couple years ago. They have proven they can respond with their backs against the wall"

Oh really?

Is CJ Stroud gonna be out there?

Can Will Howard pull a CJ Stroud?
The question we should be asking is...Is Will Howard going to magically play like the 2nd coming of (insert whoever is your GOAT) against us?...like Anthony Richardson, Taylen Green, Matt Mauck (and about a hundred other suck*** QBs that suddenly played like the greatest QB ever in a game, or sometimes just a half of a game, against us)

If he doesn't play well we have a good shot of winning this game....if he does play well our chances are not good.

Looking forward to the Vols playing up to their capabilities: strong ruuning game, timely turnovers and denial of 3rd and 4th down conversions on D, enough spalsh plays to keep the game out of reach from Nico, stingy d-line against the run, Gibson and McCoy show out defending against the pass game. Crucial contributions from Vol TE's, LB's, and S's. That's all. I think the Vols are up to beating the Buckeyes.

Edit: Consistant punting and reasonable FG kicking. It is doable.

Has anyone made the observation that the ticket prices are dropping and Tennessee fans are buying up as many as we can because….they haven’t sold out the “shoe” yet.
They announced the match up December 8th, if you flipped host team, Neyland stadium would’ve been sold out by last Friday/Saturday.

We should be hosting.

Seems like their fans are just over Ryan Day. I believe some of those fans truly feel they’ll lose to us Saturday.

Just another foolish decision by the CFP Playoff Committee.

Imagine Ohio State coming out of the tunnel all hype just to see an orange wave throughout the stadium.

Them thinking it’s their own fans only to realize they don’t wear orange and the noise isn’t from their fans.

For the record has anyone ever met an actual Ohio State fan?

I’ve only met ones that “wear the shirt”.
