'24 Recruiting Forum: Official Ohio State Pre-game/Game Thread

Heupel has to bring some new ideas into the program. He benefited from bringing Golesh in at UCF and bringing him to UT. He tries to keep his system close to the vest by promoting from within, but it has gone cold.

I ain’t said sh*+ about Ryan day.
I’ve been silent thinking, y’all falling for it again.
UGA all over . Talking sht about Kirby. Ole Miss dominated their O line, we gonna kill Beck , we gonna beat them this year 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Talkin sht bout day , 3 of their top 6 o linemen out, we gonna do what Michigan did plus some, 😂😂

I didn’t believe it, unfortunately it turned out like I expected .

They got more talent, but not that much more .
We can’t seem to play up to our talent level.
Definitely more than just a talent issue.
Are we better off today than we have been in 20 years? 2 10 win seasons, undefeated at home twice, 2 wins over Bama and UF……

Our biggest issue is talent discrepancy. We still do not have the talent to be elite regardless of what you all say. We recruit well but not elite and to win it all you have to recruit elite.

We are currently without our:

Our best WR
Our 2nd best WR (arguably)
Our best Guard
Our best RB
Our second best RB

OF COURSE we would struggle. I am not saying the coaching in this game has been perfection but we are severely limited.
What about the defense

I am a huge supporter of CJH....he has been stubborn and stupid to not use Kiselman and the TEs. Period.

He WILL BE ASKED ABOUT IT BY HUBBS AND REPORTERS.

BANKS HAS GONE TO PUSSY DEFENSE...NO BLITZING...CHAVIS DEFENSE....AND WE ARE FECKING DONE.

THIS IS ON THE COACHES. LOVE THIS STAFF...BANKS AND HYPE BOTH **** THE BED IN THIS GAME.

Terrible defense
Why would anyone want banks as a head coach lol

Safety’s suck
Lbs are slow
Dline is overrated when they have to play good competition
We’re a top 12 team but still a notch below the top tier
