I agree, and not sure how comfortable PM would be trying to run the spread offense needing a DT QB to be successful. He's a pure pro style QB his whole career so he may not have a comfort level running what BJ likes to run.

There won't be a new staff. Butch won't make the necessary changes on offense, and if he does, he will hire another puppet master. We have an outgoing AD with a new AD not hired. A HC change will not be made unless Butch decides to leave on his own accord.

I concur. Need a savvy staff for offense. Coach Fulmer had athletes, but was getting out coached in the end. I mistakenly lumped Chavis with that thinking, but I was wrong in a BIG WAY. I fully believe it is about the Jimmys and the Joes vs Xs and Os in college, but someone has to have a brain and BALLS calling the shots with athletes.

I watch guys like Jimbo Fisher call great games with a Freshman QB and very pourous OLine and I know I'm not wrong in expecting more from my coaching staff

I'm trying to compare what Bama would be doing with the DL we've had for most of this year. 3 5* (Barnett, MacKenzie, Tuttle) and a 4* Vereen plus DOB, Vickers as backups. I would expect that group dominate the line of scrimmage in every game we've played except Bama, and they haven't. I fully acknowledge injuries have killed us, but I haven't seen this defense play up to the level I thought they would, especially against lesser competition. JMO.

He's got to hire an OC and let the guy run a different O or let us watch QD run his O and see what he does with it the next few games. It could be that Dobbs just stinks and has lost all confidence. I have told my son a million times that turnover differential is what allows inferior teams to beat better teams. We were minus 3 and have been on the wrong end of that figure this year more often and not and that is why this team has had so much trouble.

However, I want Deboard and this offense gone and the sooner the better.

We lead the nation in TOs and Dobbs leads the SEC in INTs-- both by a wide margin. We're one of the most penalized teams in the SEC. Our sloppy, undisciplined play has caught up to us.

And that's all Coaching.
Pplayers keep turning it over need to sit. I don't care if you're a senior or freshman.
There has to not only be an emphasis but also accountability

If you aren't going to utilize Dobbs legs than it is MORONIC to have him in the game throwing passes either behind receivers or at their feet.

No one has been accountable all year from the top down. This soft BS has got to go. I'm done with Butch Jones. He's an embarrassment to Tennessee. I defended him but now I'm done with this hot sauce coach. Give me the steak next hire not the sauce which is all Butch is. We won't win a natty with him and since we won't I want a coach that will. Good bye Ron Zook 2.0.

Coach is lazy as hell. Reason recruiting has fallen off too. He needs a pink slip for that Dooley level loss. I will watch Tennessee play but I won't root for Butch Jones again at Tennessee. I'm done with that clown of a head coach.

When have you heard of Alabama having a soft training camp? Last year was hard and the players smashed teams weekly. We were soft this preseason and have came out soft all year. Butch is in over his head and his inconsistent offenses coupled with a lack of identity with a veteran team proves it.

we looked poorly coached last night and all season. i have never seen a lesser physical team in 30+ years of watching football. people wonder why we have so many injuries, its because we are getting beat physically. if you're not hitting then you're the one getting hit. i cant believe how soft this team is. the offensive passing game has went down hill since CMB left and CMD was hired. butch fires anyone with half a brain, and not hiring a qb coach at all is beyond me.

Not here to argue and everyone has their opinion but to me the one thing you can't say about CBJ is that he is lazy. Stubborn,? yes. Lazy, nah. He just needs to fire Debord and get an successful OC with a new O scheme.jmo

I still don't understand why you try a 57 yard fg, why do you run a 4 yard out to the te, why don't you throw it up and let Jennings try and make a play? Throw that dam percentage sheet he looks at when deciding plays at the end of the game in the trash. He should've went for the TD and least tried to win at the end. Gutless play calling all game. It's embarrassing, thanks butch, we are now the laughing stock of the sec
