Pains me to do this, but I just don't see us winning another game with Butch on the sideline. There is no doubt in my mind that this team has quit on him and will not play for him. It stinks, because my wife and her family are from South Carolina and will rub it in. Maybe some good comes from this, and Butch decides to walk away and not coach the 2nd half, or maybe he does something that gets him ejected from the game.

Weird dynamic. You know the team loves to play football, loves to win, and is more talented than USCe. Similarly, you know Butch would prefer to win, doesn't really want to be fired (even if he would prefer to be elsewhere), and is probably capable of beating USCe if the team showed up. But losing will probably hasten what is likely inevitable, and both Butch and the team know that. Really hard to say what happens. If they get down early, it may look like UGA. If a spark happens early, the competitive drive may push them to overcome apathy.

I am not a QD fan but I am not impressed with JG either and don't think he is going to fair any better. Just don't get how two QB's that both have strong arms and obvious talent can look so bad. Coaching I guess along with some really terrible play calling by Scott.

I agree with the QB change. Move on with JG and let him get experience. He might just add the spark we’ve needed. And if not, we are no worse than with Dormady.

Excited to see JG after getting two weeks of reps. I don’t think it’ll be pretty but I hope he shows flashes.

Maybe Palmer will make a grab as well.

The only thing I feel like I know regarding this game is we have to get off to a good start. A bad start and I am with you I think it gets ugly.

Given that the fans have pretty much given into the fact that we may not win another game, you start JG and don't look bad. It can't hurt, and we know for a fact QD isn't getting it done. If there ever was a no brainer for CBJ, this is it. Free JG.

Kelly has to take over for us to have a chance. That also means real run plays that big boys run pulling guards, traps and misdirection.

Butch may not care, some players may not care, but there are some who are still concerned about putting up the stats required to get drafted. JK will get some.

Probably won't name a starter till gameday, keep the cocks guessing which bad qb gets the nod.
