UT - 31
USC - 17

I think it will be close up until the 3rd quarter. Our Oline is just going to dominate their Dline and our RBs are much better which means we will play the ball control part of the game better.

Honestly have no idea what to expect we’re better in the trenches and that’s where games are won. 24-17 Vols.

Our o-line establish dominance early and Ty/Gray runs wild. Toot and Crouch will feast as our big d-line will keep USCe o-line occupied with our deep rotation. Our d-backfield shows the world that we have top notch coaching in Knoxville. Long day for the Cocks.
Vols- 34
Cocks- 13
Boat race is on boys!!!

I think it’s gonna be an ugly one. JG will be awful. But we’ll win the game similar to the MSU game last year. They won’t be able to stop our OL and run game. Vols win 17-13
Agree stranger I think it’s going to be a low scoring game. My pick on the first page was 17-10 Vols. Great minds and all that jazz stuff. Also welcome back

I believe tackling will be a big issue for us. Missing so much practice!

Maybe we will run the ball so good that JG want have to pass for the whole game. I say no swing passes for him until after the season is done. lol

Anyone else thinking about how JG has supposedly always looked great in practice but hit/miss in games and wondering if the lack of fans this year might be a blessing in disguise? Maybe he gets stage fright.

So damn excited for the weekend. I think we attempt to establish our ground game, safe passes with some play action thrown in there. Simple routes for the WRs.

On defense, I'm interested to see how the D-line plays.
This plus an exciting play for Hyatt, Holiday, Wideman and Beckwith.

31-14. SC struggles with new offense. Tight game until second half when SC starts to press and turns ball over, leading to two UT TDs in the fourth.

i have no read on this game. i think these two teams have tons of ??? though both have a couple things to build around.

defensively, i think we're gonna be pretty good, but it may take a little time to build up to that.

offensively...it's the same as it's been since the 19 seaosn ended. O LINE should be a force to reckon with and if JG just doesn't suck, there's enough talent in the backfield and at WR that the offense has a chance to be pretty good. if JG is the same and we have musical chairs at QB, there probably won't be a lot of differences from last year to this, though the record will probably be worse simply due to all SEC schedule.

so i'm excited/anxious to see what we look like out the gate....

i'm not sold on USCe at all. i think they have some nice pieces on defense. and will ultimatley probably be pretty good there.

offensively? who knows.....

if i have to pick right now, i'll take our O line advantage to the bank and say we grind one out 23-16. if our defense shows up ahead of the curve, we could beat them pretty good. if our offense shows up ahead of hte curve...blow out.
