'20 Recruiting Forum: Official South Carolina Pregame/Game Thread

Really tried to study this SC team. I read many articles and listed to some podcasts today.

Just tried listening to a podcast with JC Shurburtt (alone talking to himself). I have followed him a while through recruiting and new he was a homer but wow this cat is delusional. I was hoping to get some insight into their depth chart and the SC team. But no.... He spent the whole time trying to convince himself that USCjr is a better program than UT. Made it about 13 minutes before I had to turn it off. Here are a few of his doozies:

- "SC has beaten TN head to head in recruiting more times than not since Muschamp arrived." The truth is Joe Anderson is the only prospect that SC beat us head to head on their entire roster. That was a blunder where we passed on him early on and tried to get back in late when it was to late... We have 10+ examples us beating SC for kids on our roster.

- "TN is at the same level as Mizzou, KY, SC, and VANDY right now. Every game is a tossup. No real leader for 3rd in the east. Equal in talent and depth." LOL Vandy???

- "SC expects to beat TN every year, as they are the better program."

I was born hating Bama, UGA, and UF. After living in SC and attending a game at Columbia I have grown to hate the SC fanbase just as much. Worst away game experience I have ever attended.

Can not wait until we run the ball right down their throat on Saturday on our way to a 14+ point victory.
Playing to the paying customers. I guess nobody wants a Callahan or so these days. Just feed em **** for $.

I really wish Tim Jordan had not been so stupid and was still on the team. He was primed for a really good year as our #3 RB, I think we need a big bruising style back to compliment Chandler and Gray.
Hopefully one of the freshman backs step up. I'm excited about Cody Brown next season.

I went to a game there and it was awful. Skating rink music all game, front row seats were still two miles from the field, grown ass men yelling at my mom, sister, and GF the whole way back to the car after the loss. And to make worse that was the 2016 game...

Need a gambling degenerate to be sure. Hey @BruinVol how much money does he get?

Lol

Looks like the 10000 is based on ML math which means for every 100 bet you’d win 10000. Not the same a 10000:1

To explain better the vols at -176 this week which means you would have to risk 176 to win 100.

And South Carolina is +143 which means if you bet 100 you would win 143.

For the 5 star pick of the year, guaranteed to win and makes easy money please sent your donation of 50$ to my Venmo account @bruinvol.gambling.com

True story. I’ve paid one time in my life for a handicapping expert to give me his “game or the year”.

And you know what the game was ?

None other than tenn -29iirc vs memphis in 1997.
needless to say that guy didn’t get anymore of my $.

not that I had any left after that game anyway lol

I don’t know that Dee would’ve played this week at RB anyways but he’s out now.

Lenneth isn’t playing this year IIRC.

Is Tee still having a foot issue?

Is it only Gray, Chandler, and Jabari Small ss our scholly backs this game or am I forgetting someone?

I’m actually excited to see what JS can do.

Yep... Fred Orr is probably running 4th right now.

Call me crazy or delusional but I think we see a consistent JG this year, won’t be spectacular but won’t be a disaster.
