‘23 Recruiting Forum: Official South Carolina Pregame/Game Thread

Well VN, you are welcome. Ole Glitch brought you yet another victory through my attendance in the cathedral of cathedrals, Neyland stadium. We were loud and disruptive from start to finish and I personally caused several false starts. I gave my all today.
Hope you gave the South Carolina fans a couple of TWSS while you were in attendance....

The McCoy injury is a devasting loss....now Thorton needs to man up and show WHY coach Heupel and staff desired him so much....also I look for Kaleb Webb and Nathan Leacock to be consistent contributors soon ...I'm thinking in 2 WEEKS...😎 sorry I meant Webb and Nimrod ....Leacock is next year so many names to remember..

DL was blatantly held numerous times all game. It’s baffling we can’t get a neutral whistle in our own house.
One of my pet peeves. There two officials stand in the backfield along with one on the D side and they swallow their whistles despite blatant holding. Yet, they made the quick call on Ollie when he did it. Sick of the bias.

Can't believe anyone could hear this and think for a second it's true, let alone spread it as fact. . .

May be hard to believe, but makes perfect sense given the way the end of these games have played out. Nico is the most talented QB Heup has ever had. A redshirt year is for everyone’s benefit.

Really good W. Had to have that one.

Not going to overanalyze it. Saw enough positives and clear indications for improvement. The staff will be all over it. Glad to see DC Banks make some quicker adjustments rather than waiting until half time. It was great to see the young LB's gaining experience and the D line showing out, especially Pearce. Much improvement in secondary play that benefited from a more aggressive scheme and play calling by Banks. Rattler was one tired, beat up puppy by that 4th quarter. They were whipped as a team and knew it by then.

The bye week could not come at a better time. Much prayer and appreciation for Bru.

Soild O-line play changes things for the entire team and results in games. Cooper back, Ollie back at RG, and Mincey finding his form has changed it all. We must have the running game working. If Milton is not rushed and does not lock on his primary receiver, he can get the job done if he does not try to do too much. The next two weeks will be important for further development of his mental approach, reading coverages and healing his knee.

Time to step up, Thornton.

I watched it and never saw it. TV never replayed it from the angle you could see the sideline. I'd have to see it to believe it.
You could see him if you replayed the original view. Like I said, it was rewind #5 or so before I could finally see him, he was buried on our sideline.

Meaningful to the outcome of the game? No.

Meaningful to Nico’s development? Yes.
If handing the ball off 4 times is meaningful to Nico's development he is... behind to say the least.

It's just silly. You want to see Nico in the game. I get it. But acting like handing the ball off the same as he has done in games since pee wee football matters at all to his future is the stretch of all stretches.

What’s silly is your overly simplistic view, and blatant mischaracterization.

No it would for sure be Nico
