You're just being dumb and playing sleight of hand. No one in the history of the world ever thought or said thatEven weirder that it bothers you so much when people point out that it might not be a bad idea to get your backup QB some reps when the opportunity presents itself.
We all enjoyed the win. No way not to enjoy putting Beamer and Rattler in their place. But it’s very valid to say that it was a missed opportunity to not let Nico play the last possession.
is a bad idea. But those last snaps to run out the clock don't qualify as quality reps.get your backup QB some reps when the opportunity presents itself.
OK. Ask Danny White if you can have Heupel's job.Yes, they would have been meaningful. Let him play that last possession with the full playbook at his disposal. Any rep you can get a true freshman quarterback is something he can learn from.
We will just have to agree to disagree if you can’t understand that.
Its not about wanting to play, its being ready.Than he doesn't need to ne the 2nd QB. I agree he needs to add weight, but it doesn't make sense to not want to play. What sort of "leader" doesn't want to play.
There was a receiver in the area. It went right over his head. However, he was out of bounds, and I'm not sure he counts if he ran himself out of bounds. But maybe they said he was forced out. He was definitely there (I had to watch the replay several times, he was hidden by a ton of our players on the sideline), but I'd have to research the rule to see if an out of bounds receiver counts for avoiding intentional grounding. That's why they never showed it on replay. It was intentional grounding which is a safety.
Meaningful to the outcome of the game? No.
Meaningful to Nico’s development? Yes.
