There was a receiver in the area. It went right over his head. However, he was out of bounds, and I'm not sure he counts if he ran himself out of bounds. But maybe they said he was forced out. He was definitely there (I had to watch the replay several times, he was hidden by a ton of our players on the sideline), but I'd have to research the rule to see if an out of bounds receiver counts for avoiding intentional grounding.
I watched it and never saw it. TV never replayed it from the angle you could see the sideline. I'd have to see it to believe it.

Baffling how some have the inability to grasp something so simple. No point in arguing about it at this point. Nico didn’t play, is what it is. We got a much needed win and have some good things to build on headed into the bye week.
Eh, some guys just aren’t going to question. And that’s ok.

Every time Nico steps on the field it’s a positive for his progression. Would have liked to see it.

Vols win. It was good.

Let us know, please, rule-meister!

Well VN, you are welcome. Ole Glitch brought you yet another victory through my attendance in the cathedral of cathedrals, Neyland stadium. We were loud and disruptive from start to finish and I personally caused several false starts. I gave my all today.

Back in my hotel room after an amazing evening in Neyland. Great win for the good guys

The last three pages of RF are quite frankly so so FF

The atmosphere tonight was great... from the Vol Walk, to people inviting me to share their tailgates, to the coeds seeming to have no modesty with their attire, to the effort on the field, and the loud crowd on third downs

So proud to be a Vol on nights like this

I grabbed a bite after and happened to strike up a convo with the couple at the next table who were wearing SC gear. They were the parents of the SC backup QB. Very complimentary of how they were treated in and out of the stadium. So kudos to my fellow Vols for keeping it civil
