Chop block that doesn't effect the play takes 7 off the board. Fumble on the 1 yard line takes a almost for sure 7 off the board. Then in 4th quarter could almost certainly be calling plays that would allow us to score but they are choosing to run every play and get the game over with.

Our offensive line sucks so bad that we've run for almost 300 yards today.

The problem is, and has been all season, inconsistency. Sometimes missed assignments and sometimes poor technique. Rarely just flat out getting whipped.

You’re right, keep it in perspective. We have 500 yards compared to like 125, we’ve got pressure on the QB for the first time this year. We made some mistakes that shot ourself in the foot that made the score 24-0 instead of 38(or more)-0 and that will be the focus in the film room. We swarmed on defense and made some big plays behind the LOS, JG finally made some playable with his feet. Obviously we would have liked us see us dominate them on the score board but that doesn’t matter when breaking down film. It’s why you see Saban still cursing how players out when they’re up by 80 but still making mistakes that are dumb

So, does the coaching staff not practice everybody and many plays because some of you need to cover dumb bets? Better than half of this game has just been practicing stuff to develop depth and consistency to get these guys ready for the SEC.

My only complaint with the strategy is that when Chryst is in there you have to let him throw it.

Going in and handing the ball off 9 times doesn’t prepare him for having to come into a game if JG gets hurt. Let him toss it down the field in live game situations. Don’t like the playcalling with that switch taking place.
