The post was more about pointing out how any negative observation is attacked when some of those observations are identical to coach Pruitt's.

Standard answer.....

ANY negative observation is NOT attacked. I’ve made negative posts today and haven’t been or felt attacked.

CONSISTENTLY negative posters, especially those that admit to trolling,get attacked (kinda like consistently positive posters do).

Pruitt expects more from this team than any of us do. I love that.

Surprised at the negativity right now, but this is VolNation. If you just look at the score sure. But we had a TD taken off the board on the Banks “fumble” and another TD wiped away on a penalty that had zero effect on the play (still can’t happen). Had 345 yards rushing and out gained them 512 to 134, simply put we dominated them. Few thoughts on individual player.
JG > KC, JG shouldn’t come out of the game unless injury or equipment issues.
Ty Chandler is our best back and it’s pretty obvious, has that burst the others don’t.
Dline as a whole looked good, Paul Bain was making plays!!!

I thought going in to the season that I wouldn’t bet a dime on a Vols game this year, win or lose.

Most the time the OL got beat was when they just whiffed. Like 58 on one of the sacks. Need to be better next week. On the bright side defense did exactly what they were supposed to do which is not let them score. Would have liked a turnover or two though.

This is true... It made me laugh when the announcer said “you can’t do that with that much speed on defense” talking about the QB running backwards and passing into the flat

I think we did too. I think UTEP is substantially better the ETSU too. This definitely one of those situations where the score is not representative of the game.

I didn’t get to see much of the game but noticed Richmond playing poorly in the first half and still in the game at the end. Any ideas on the coaches’ rationale for keeping him in? Trying to get him going? Have no other options?

Sometime it probably does, but no more than negative posters mock “sunshine pumpers” for posting something positive.

Again, I’ve posted negative things today and didn’t get attacked, because I’m not a consistently negative poster.

Indeed. Our third down offense has been really bad all season and hasn’t improved at all, imo outside of poor oline play it’s probably the biggest weakness. It’s how close games turn in to blowouts and winnable games turn into losses. Third down defense went from playing WVU to ETSU and utep so kinda hard to know if it actually improved at all

That QB switch before half was dumb. You put in a 5th year grad transfer QB over a young guy who could use all the live game 2 minutes hurry up offensive experience he could get.

Then So does Jimbo fisher. He took this same squad tova 7-6 record and got beat by BC by damn near 30. Left the cupboard bare with the same OL issues he had for 3 consecutive years.

I know I’m in the minority here and aTm has started well, but I still think jimbo is somewhat overrated.
