'18 Recruiting Forum: Official Vanderbilt Pre-Game/Game Thread

If Pruitt doesn’t get it done that’s the ceiling for us. Might already be. It’s certainly possible for blue blood programs to never recover.

Yeah. I’m thinking we are the Nebraska of the SEC. The game has just passed our program by.

I continue to think it is notably any old coach can come in and win 10 ballgames at Bama, LSU, UF, UGA, A&M and Auburn. If it were that easy here Dooley and Butch would have done it.

It’s not and so they didn’t.

I don’t know if I’m supposed to be embarrassed that Vanderbilt is going to have a 3-game streak from the first time since the mid-20s, but considering that Tennessee has become known for shattering every humiliating record we have, this one isn’t making much of a dent.

Anyone who has half-assed it this game needs to be taken out and given a head start on their career at Enterprise Rent a Car. Let those young guys that want to see the field play.

Coastal Carolina’s coach dismissed 20 players this year prior to the season in order to change the culture. They played all year with 65 scholarships. They did not win many games, but they played hard and he got rid of the quitters and trouble makers.

Tennessee just isn't one of those programs. Been telling people this for months.
