'18 Recruiting Forum: Official Vanderbilt Pre-Game/Game Thread

Very nice! I live in Morgantown and it seems like its hard to find good bourbon around here. I called one of the local stores a few weeks ago to ask about Buffalo Trace's Antique Collection and the guy on the phone didn't know what I was talking about. Hard to even find Blanton's. I've been able to grab some on my trips back to East TN.

Some inside info, we own Smoker Friendly, Buffalo Trace allocations were **** this year for the state. Our Pappy allocations were horrible. Blantons seems impossible to get. All of the BTAC fall releases were much less this year than years past. Sazarac brands were just very hard to come by.
Go to our website Smoker Friendly wv dot com, I'm the director of alcohol, shoot me an email and I will try to hook you up with things when it's avail. (I'd post it here, but don't want a bunch of random Moran's emailing me!! ) lol

This game is a wide open spread game where you thow it a ton now, and we are still trying to run a pre historic fullback offense. Bama hardly ever runs out of the I form anymore.

Today shows why players want to declare early, even though they could benefit from another year of conditioning and development. Frustration around this program is sky-high-- and another disappointing season ended on yet another historic blowout.

Lmfao at people putting this on Pruitt
So coaching deserves no blame at all?

A lot of people before the year said things like we have a solid roster, picked us to beat wVU, JG is a nfl caliber qb, etc. It’s a two way street for everything.

Sure wish they was something the players could do about that....

This is what happens with a new coach as was pointed out. Everything bad is the fault of the players and/or the previous coach. Everything good is because of the new coach. Rinse and repeat for a few years and the cycle starts all over. Happened for Kiffin, Dooley, Jones, and now Pruitt. You can set your watch by it.

So how does this affect our recruiting?
Honestly I don't think it does.

There had been no over promising on results.

We were 5-6 going in to this game, it's not like we are being UPSET here.

The pitch is the same

So now we don't think the coach cares? Well, let's see. I think in the past 3 hours we've managed to criticized pretty much everything and everybody having anything to do with UT football. On second thought, we haven't criticized the grounds keeper or pa announcer like we did a few years ago, I guess we're doing better.

As I said a couple of weeks ago, it won't take much for some fans to turn on CJP. We're there already.
