We weren't playing soft coverage all game. Reason their QB wasn't able to get rid of the ball fast. Go watch, their best plays were QB scrambles. And the longer the game went the more our depth just whooped on them. Lol

Also, the DE and DT both shot the same gap so there was no contain. Overall just a blown assignment somewhere and they ran straight at it

It is amazing to see the physical transformation. His quickness improved as a result.

But we did capitalize and score touchdowns on those drives. I feel like in previous years we would've settled for field goals most times.

This defense is nasty and they're going to continue to make turnovers left and right putting our offense in good position. We don't need to apologize for capitalizing on turnovers, that's part of the game. And hopefully we do that the rest of the year. If so it'll be a big reason why we make it to Atlanta.

The first three times we took over possession inside Virginia tech's 30, we came away with 10 points.

I know they beat Kansas. The same Kansas that rushed the field after beating Rhode Island last week.

Honestly, Kansas should be removed from the FBS. They belong in the FCS.
