I say 8 regular season wins n hopefully wins a big bowl game to get us to 9. Anything less they are underachievers.

Here is where vn isn't going to like me. I say we lose to both ou, fla, bama and ga. Cbj hasn't impressed me in big games n has choked in a few ie.vandy n fla.

So until he gets enough talent to overwhelm his opponents I say we stay avg in the win column.

I so hope I'm wrong!!!

Nope! It's why I say we go 10-2, and make it to the ATL for the game on the 1st Saturday in December. I think this team arrives a year early, because they are an extremely hungry bunch of very talented men, and the hungriest ones are the veteran leaders. Butch Jones, baby!! GO VOLS!!!

The only thing that could derail that scenario is if both losses are to SEC teams and GA only loses one or two and they beat us giving them the east which is very plausible. I think we're undefeated when we host the dawgs and we use that momentum to catapult past them going into AL undefeated.

Tired of always being realistic and predicting 6-7 wins year in and year out...so this year, we have the talent to go 10-2...which is why I'm going all out. 12-0 regular season, 15-0 when the dust settles!!!! Josh Dobbs wins the Heisman. Hurd has 1100 and 9 (and pancakes Eric Striker over and over when he tries to blitz), Kamara has 925 and 6....and we win the whole effing show. Pandemonium runs wild!

Team is perfectly capable of going 10-2 but I think injuries are going to bother us this year. Every team deals with them but we have depth issues.

We still are a young team with a terrible OL if we can get 8 regular season wins and win the BOWL VOL NATION SHOULD BE HAPPY, most of us know 16 is the year we will be a BIG DOG then in 17 we will bring the NC back to KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE where it belongs.

The big IF word the OL will hold this team back from the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, we are loaded everywhere else but with the Freshmen we got now on the OL they will become a unit in 16 that we VOL NATION will be proud of.

I know they dont and really i dont but in my heart we are still 1 year away from Atlanta and a 10 win team, but at least this year every time we take the field deep down we got a chance to win we wont win all of them but no more 60-21 AZZ KICKING we will compete and thats good enough for me as long as we play hard and improve from week to week, thats all i can ask from this team, if Vol Nation thinks this team is going to win 10, they are in for a major let down, now if everything went our way and the OL could be decent then we got a chance at 9 and that would be huge for this team and FAN BASE.

Where are the four losses coming from?

We should have no problems with our OOC except for OK. I really think we take care of business with KY, Candy, and SC. I think we'll finally show Mizzou what Tennessee football is really like. That leaves us with FL, OK, AL, AR, and GA. I just don't see us losing 4 of those five. If we can win at FL (very possible, we should win) and take revenge on OK, I see us winning at least 1 of AL, AR, or GA.

I realize that our O-line is a huge question mark but one of Mr. Clean's strengths was with the offensive line. Surely the O-line will have made some progress from last year. That combined with more weapons and experience should make for a vastly improved offense. The front seven on D needs no mention and the secondary is stout as well especially considering that Mosely has reportedly been the best cover corner in fall camp.

Now that doesn't mean that I'm going to flip out if we go 8-4. I'll save that for if we go 7-5. 😁

im going with 9-3 but im nervous as hell about it, cause well the past few years has me gun shy

but looking at it logically, well its about kmac and shy really. i dont think youre going to be able to run on us at will anymore.. so 15-0 basically

"Getting warm?" Probably a little, from the fans if not the AD. Not this particular fan, but some undoubtedly.


My prediction:

10-2 regular season with a close loss to Bama and a road loss to either Mizzou or UF.

1. UT, Uga, Mizzou all tie for the East at 6-2. UT loses the tiebreaker to Mizzou.

2. A New Year's day bowl win has UT at 11 wins and VolNation is insufferable as we haul in a top 5 recruiting class for 2016. The hype for this team heading into August 2016 will bring out the absolute worst in much of our fan base.

3. Kahlil and KP5 both have Freshmen AA seasons.

4. The offensive line proves serviceable if unspectacular. Good enough for Dobbs and company to put up the most points since 2012.

5. Cam and JRM see that the lid is about to blow off this thing and pull a Peyton and stay for their Senior seasons.

For all the youth talk consider the following.

We have a talented and experienced QB
One of the best DE tandems in all of CFB
One of the best ST's in the league
One of the more talented rb duos.
One of the deepest and most talented WR corps in the league
An experienced secondary even without Gaulden.
An OL that while not great has a number or starts between them.

now tell me again why we should lose more than 3 games?

bc saying the OL is 'not great' is an understatement. They are garbage. Everybody knows it.


alabama, georgia, arkansas, oklahoma, florida.

im not saying i disagree with you but we have to get the majority of these games if its going to happen.

Today I say we lose to Georgia, Bama, and 1 of the following Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, or Florida (please no)

Beat Oklahoma and momentum might push us past Arkansas and Georgia

Win our bowl game so make it 10-3.

Hopefully that will be good enough to win the East if not then I'm still happy. Our time to win the East AND the whole SEC will come next year. :rock:

Oh yeah, and our DL will destroy every QB in the SEC. :aggressive:
