The narrative is slowly starting to become negative about him though IMO

I agree but if he’s working behind the scenes and needs the timing to be right for whatever he’s doing, then I don’t care about a narrative. I would have fired him already but I’m not the AD.

No, IDT anybody believes Butch can survive this. He has no real path forward. I just think Currie is reluctant to make a move until he feels he has to. Like many, I don't agree with delaying the inevitable. It's hurting the focus and morale of the team and setting us up for a very bad season.

I think he bought some time with the two road games. I don't think they'll let him coach in Neyland, win or lose. Especially on homecoming weekend. It would be a recipe for disaster.

Surprise, surprise. With us the narrative always turns negative, deserved or not. We really aren't a very patient people, nor are we very logical. There's no reason we should know what Currie is doing, and there's no reason we should assume that our lack of knowledge means he's blowing it.

Disagree there. No way to know what was going through his head.

You disagree because there’s no way to know? You seem to know enough to know it wasn’t him making a statement.

It’s clear he made himself visible for a reason. The facial expression, standing and staring... it was more Hollywood than Remember The Titans.

He could say about anything. He hasn’t said a word. And you don’t know that Butch isn’t coming back. Hubbs sure sounded genuine when he said that Currie doesn’t want to fire Butch and probably hasn’t made that decision yet. But I guess a poster named Beaver should be believed over Hubbs?

He doesn't need to say anything, Currie has done everything right since he has got here and that's why I believe Butch is gone. I could care less what "beaver" says. Has Hubbs ever been wrong?

All of them said that Currie didn’t want to fire Butch and it’s possible he could stay. Literally all of them said that.

Well yeah, no AD wants to fire a coach, but they all indicated there was no way they thought Butch survived. And Hubbs and Lewis both said they were very confident Currie had a feel for what needed to be done.

That podcast sounded like nothing but doom and gloom for Butch to me.

According to VQ pod Currie does not want to fire Butch. We don’t really know if he is even talking to people. All we have are message board rumors. He hasn’t said a word.

According to the VQ pod, Tee Higgins committed to us a second time. :)

Ok, poorly worded, but yes, I disagree that it was calculated.
